  1. THAT IS SWEET !! IT LOOKS GOOD WITH THE LIFT KIT !! THE BOX ART LOOKS PRETTY COOL ALSO...
  2. That looks really good for your 3rd build !! I agree with the other comments here... sand the back tires a bit to take the gloss off of the slick, add a little black "wash" to the intake, and add some plug wires, and this this will really stand out !! You did do a great job on this one !!
  3. THAT IS ONE B E A U T I F U L LOOKIN CAR YOU GOT THERE !! I LOVE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO THIS THING !! THAT CAR IS SOOOOO HOT !! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY, BUT, WOW !! GREAT JOB !!
  4. I always enjoy looking at the Sox & Martin cars... Those are great cars !! You did a great job on this one !!
  5. That's looking really good so far I still have the Ghost Rider still in the box and now I'm thinking I might have to dig it out and take another look at it now...Thanks, now I have ANOTHER project to put on my bench...lol What color are you thinking of putting on the body ??
  6. That is a very sharp build !! I really like the interior and the dash looks great !!
  7. You did a great job on this one !! Makes me wanna get mine out and finish it also !! Love the dash detail on yours !!
  8. I have someone willing to buy the VW Rolls and one wanting to trade... Don't know what I want to do yet... George: I haven't touched a model in quite some time for the reasons I told you about before... but now I'm getting things organized at my new home and starting to get back to the way I was before... hopefully I will have something to share with you soon
  9. I just picked up a couple of models at an auction the other day... I plan on building one of them and selling the other two, but was wondering if anyone knew approximately how much these two would be worth ?? I'm gonna build this one... Champion Spark Bug Baja racer... Thinking of selling these two... but want to know what these might be worth, if anyone has an idea ?? Thanks in advance...
  10. WOW, simply amazing. I don't know where to begin, the detail is spectacular in both shops !!! How big is the Harley shop since it's 1/12 scale ?? STEVE ALLEN
  11. Now THAT'S gonna leave a mark When you get the guy ready, just tape him on the wall with his head down and legs up and call it done Other than that, you did a great job on your dio, keep up the good work. STEVE ALLEN
  12. That is some great weathering done on those models. I really like the "General Lee" the most. STEVE ALLEN
  13. The '62 looks great, I really like the (time consuming) detail painting of the interior. I also like the LaFrance pumper turned into a Hauler, as for the name, I looked up the french term for Hauler since it's a LaFrance truck and the word is "Camionneur", which means "Hauler or chauffeur" so what do you think of "The Cord Camionneur" for the Cord Hauler (chauffeur) ?? I can't wait to see the Hauler when it's done STEVE ALLEN
  14. WOW That is one sweet looking 'Cuda... I didn't know you built 'Cudas too You did a great job on this one, I love the detail that you put into it. What did this one look like before you rebuilt it ?? STEVE ALLEN
  15. Gee, when I was stationed in Pensacola, all I saw was skinny women in bikini's on the beach, which didn't bother me one bit But, I think the dio looks real good... nice and simple. You did a great job with this one. two thumbs up :} STEVE ALLEN
  16. When I first looked at the pics, I thought you were comparing inside and outside shots of the model, then I looked again and realized that the outside shot was of the real car and the other one was the model (the last pic gave it away with the taillight lenses) So, I must say, you did one heck-of-a-job with your model And your real one is sweet also... STEVE ALLEN
  17. Just got this sweet little Flatbed in the mail recently to add to my garage dio. I just have to finish up the sign and the parking lot and this baby will be parked in front Riding piggy-back in my version of AMT's "Dukes of Hazard" Charger. It's "inprogress" of getting restored. As always, comments welcomed STEVE ALLEN
  18. I think you are on the right track. If you like this engine and can use it somewhere else, pull it out, paint the hood semi-gloss black and put it on there, then put the metal axle thru the bottom hole to raise up the front end a bit, and throw some painted steelies on there. Throw a "For Sale" sign on it and add it to a diorama. I'm in the process of doing the same thing with the Dukes of Hazard Charger. The car is in grey primer with the doors, hood, and trunk in black primer. The engine will be missing, so the metal axle will go in the bottom holes to give the front end the "lifted" look. When the car is done, it will sit on a flatbed truck infront of my 3-bay garage, ready to go in the garage to be "finished". STEVE ALLEN
  19. Howz the shop coming along ?? My boyz where building a "garage" for their hotwheels tonite and I told my wife about your garage you built with Lego's. I told her when the kids get older... I'm taking the Lego's for myself. So, since I was here, I thought I would check and see if you have any updated pics of the shop yet ?? STEVE ALLEN
  20. That's one cool ride Love the color on this one and great job fitting the engine and the interior into the Merc STEVE ALLEN
  21. Great looking builds Jeryd...as always... I just picked up the "Hemified" Charger myself, so I will be looking at yours for inspiration I also like the pro-stock firebird, got any pics of the engine detail ?? I just checked out your photobucket and it's growing every time I look at it.... You do great work STEVE ALLEN
  22. I think that car will turn out great If you ever watch "Pinks- All Out", there was a guy running a '70s Camaro with a ford engine in it As for color, how about orange in front fading to a red in the back ?? STEVE ALLEN
  23. Those two turned out AWSOME and I can't wait to see the third part of the installment to finish out the combo. Keep up the great work and keep posting pics... STEVE ALLEN
  24. Now THIS is something that I really like, unique, but VERY COOL Keep up the great work and I'd like to see more of these... STEVE ALLEN
  25. I hit the BIG 4-0 last April and have been building since I was 10/11 because my older brother was building models, stopped at 18 and started again at 29. My wife will complain about me having too many model kits in the basement, but I keep telling her.... "if my hobby was hunting/fishing/ or drinking at the bars, I wouldn't be home with her and the kids all the time, so she should be lucky" Remember, you're only as old as you feel STEVE ALLEN
