  1. Realgone, looks like the hub caps from AMT 1970 police car
  2. Very nice work on all the Galaxies
  3. Swen, I forgot to say that your Chevelle looks great.
  4. Didn't the '68 front marker lights have 396 on them? The '69 didn't , I think.
  5. That is not an easy job converting an Impala to a BelAir or Biscayne. The rear window and rear end are very hard to change.
  6. Nice land Yacht
  7. I have one of the Lindberg Challenger too, that I need to build. I was thinking about the '72 Mod Squad car that they took a '71 and changed the front and back to be a '71, because the needed a convertible after Chrysler stopped making them. That kit was originally a Palmer Scale Models '71 Challenger and later Palmer updated it to a '73 (on their box stated as).
  8. Really neat little model
  9. "58 Impala vert with '64 Impala bucket seats. That's Posh 1 and Posh 2 modeling next to Impala just to SPICE up the foto.
  10. Very nice job. How were the castings. I had that kit and the bottom was a little bowed out and I could not get it in shape.
  11. I had the '68 Ambassador kit. Johan inserted a foil sheet in the kit to do the chrome. After I used that I decided to buy Bare Metal Foil, that originally was meant for airplane models. Nice car you have
  12. Is that oil filter representative of an aftermarket or optional item on a '46 Chevy?
  13. I bought the Countdown '69 Chevelle convertible back in the '70s. Took me 20 years to finish it. It had the '68 Chevelle windshield with the vent glass. Also seems like it had Firestone 500 tires, but they are gone now. The trim on the side is all wrong for a SS, so you have to remove it and add wheel opening trim using Evergreen styrene. It had bad tail lights and the wrong side marker lights. Since then, I have gotten several '69 Chevelle hardtops from the '80s to' 90s or so. Same basic kit. Funny looking at the chrome tree, it seems parts disappear and something new appears. They must have revised the emblems or something as my three hardtops have slightly different looks. If you buy AMT '65 Elcaminos from annual release to the latest release, you will see what I mean; has 327 emblem, no emblem and then a different 327 emblem. I have bought several Modelhaus '69 Chevelle rear bumpers and red tail lights. Not too expensive. All in all, the Chevelle vert will be very welcome. I will by several, one may be a "68 Chevelle vert.
  14. You can turn an original annual AMT '67 Impala into a '68 because the body width is about the same as a MPC '68 Impala, of which you can by the '68 bumpers from Modelhaus. Unfortunately, the ERTL AMT '67 Impala body doesn't fit the '68 MPC Impala bumpers. Nice find '68 Impala, have fun with it.
  15. I agree, this is a difficult project. Nice work
