O.K.... Finally got the body glosscoated. I'll post some pics tomorrow!

It's working again.... But for how long? I've re-shaped the taillights in preparation for the custom body work.... Next I'll cut up the front end to customize it. Stay tuned!

Well, mines still down. My avatar is missing, I see quite a few missing as a matter of fact. Did you have an avatar Joe? If Zeb has one, I can't see it either.... And all my pictures here are gone too. This is getting old fast....

Got mine back. All my pics disappeared, and now they're back.... I ran my Spybot search and destroy, and now my Photobucket is back, but it's acting strange.... On another forum, they put a link on there if the pic is too big, but instead of a link, my pics are showing up supersized....

Those are nice. I'd like to find a long trailer to display my hearses. I have the trailer from the AMT Caprice kit. It's a nice trailer, but still not long enough.

O.K., I've started carving on the frame now. I'm not one who likes frames with molded exhaust and driveshafts. I was fortunate enough to find that the rear suspension on the '66 is the same as a '59, so I have the perfect replacement from a Monogram '59 Cadillac kit. On with the pics.... These are pics taken right after I carved it out with a Dremel tool. I've since cleaned the cuts up, and will post pics after I fill in the holes with sheet plastic.... I cut out as little as possible so that I won't use as much filler and sheet plastic.... All that's left is to remove the driveshaft after I fill in the holes. That way it'll be more sturdy when I cut it out.... More to follow, stay tuned!

Thanks Led(I think).... This has been fun for me too so far. Right now I'm chopping up the frame, removing the molded in exhaust and driveshaft. Keep watching for my next update soon!

Hmmmm.... Must have cut too hard. The fender skirts fell off! Guess I'll have to add those to the list of things to detail....

O.K., I got the doors chopped out. Next thing to work on is the rest of the interior. I plan to cut out the trans tunnel, and build a custom console. The trans tunnel is too low for a bigger engine, so it has to come out. here's the work so far.... I left the hardest part for last.... Cutting the two doors apart!!!! And.... TA-DA!!!! More later!
