  1. O.K., I've started on the interior.... I've cut the door panels out of the tub, and I've removed the rollers.... Before.... And after.... More to come!
  2. Looking forward to seeing them. I've been working on mine as much as possible, but work gets in the way every now and then.... Go figure?
  3. Hmmmm.... You never mentioned that all the doors have to open. I was planning to finish the "Corpsevette" during this build off, but the only door that will open is the rear. I do have a Jo-Han that I was planning on doing as a full detail though. I guess I'll have to go with that then. If you were ever wondering what was printed in the little box at the bottom, here's what it was.... Here's the body molded in Heavenly Orchid.... These are the wheels I'm planning to use on it.... And off we go!!!!
  4. I'm gonna say model.... I don't know why, but that's my answer.
  5. Kool!!!! Looking forward to it!
  6. What's the famous last words of a redneck? Watch this!!
  7. How's the build going? I'm not a fan of the color green, but yours looks awesome! Let us see an update!
  8. And I'll bet the itch to build has just about killed you Gregg! Looking forward to seeing this built!
  9. Model parts specialties sell those 10 for $2.00 (4th one down) http://stores.homestead.com/hstrial-RSchwa.../Categories.bok
  10. Color looks great! Looking forward to seeing this one being built!
  11. Uh huh.... The editor talks all about his son being brought into the hobby, and yet, the editor BANS a member who asked people to say a prayer for his son who has cancer.... And people wonder why I quit buying their rag, quit the forum, and talked to my LHS, contacted Model Car Magazine, and told them that my LHS wants their magazine instead! Now my LHS carries MCM only. As far as I'm concerned, the "SA editor" can teach his "son" how to make people miserable!
  12. Thanks Wayne! That means a lot coming from you! You are one of the best builders I've ever seen!
  13. Thanks Mr. Biggs! I'm working on it when I can. The drive train is next on the agenda....
  14. Thanks Rollin! I'm liking it too! New update: I've added sheet plastic to the interior, to fill in the hole left from cutting out the back seat. The interior before I cut out the back seat The seat was cut out to fit the frame 4 pieces of sheet plastic cut to fit the interior Side by side view of original and modified interior Another side by side view just need to add a trans tunnel, clean it up, and flocking.... Let me know what you think.
  15. I haven't done much with the '74 due to work lately. I do have a question.... I was wondering if I should paint the hood body color, or black. I have painted one of the hoods I have semi gloss black, and was thinking of painting the sides of the hood scoop white. I have three of these hoods to work with. Here's a couple of pics of the semi gloss black hood on the car.... Let me know what you think....
  16. Thanks George. The only thing I had to do to get the frame to fit was cut out the rear seat of the RR interior. I know Plum crazy is getting overused, but in this case I thought it would be a good color. Thanks again for the great comment!
  17. Thanks Ken! I appreciate the comment.
  18. Looks great! I need to finish mine! Keep up the great work!!!!
  19. This is the project I'm working on now.... I'm using the AMT '74 Road Runner, the AMT '70 Super Bee, and the AMT '71 Charger for parts. I'm using the DOHC Hemi, the frame, seats, and drive train, from the Bee, the body and interior from the Road Runner, and the dash from the Charger. Let me know what you think....
  20. Thanks Merc and Evilone! Now if I could just finish the "Corpse-vette"....

Mark has posted some excellent advice, as well as Bill(looking at Bills work with models, I feel like I just started building models yesterday). Everyone here has been kind to me with advice and ideas to do a better build, that I love coming here! Hope you had a great cookout today, and great memorial day!
  22. Thanks for the great comments everyone! I really appreciate them!!!! Evilone, it's a regular Jo-Han Heavenly Hearse, slightly modified....

  25. This is 2000 P-71 I bought at a used car lot this last summer.... It had 112,000 miles on it, and I got it for $2,200.00. Removing the decals was a chore!
