  1. Hmmmm.... Let me think.... I don't know.... It might be a possibility.... It could also be a close call.... Still thinking.... Not really sure yet.... Well, at least I can tell you this much.... OH HELL YEAH BUDDY!!!! BRING IT ON!!!!
  2. Very very cool Virgil, and VERY VERY DANGEROUS!!!! You need to put a front spoiler on it so it can scoop a person into it's mouth! Looks great so far, and I'll definitely be looking in on it everyday!
  3. Hmmmm..... You need to get with the times. You need one of these! They're great for displaying Models, DIEcasts, bodies, and customs! Your build looks good so far, I like the use of the toothpicks as a mohawk. Looking forward to this build!
  4. Thanks guys! I've got other plans for more customizing also.... I picked up a 737 cid Thumper motor from Gibson Engines, with the supercharger from the Hemi Hunter motor, and I thought about using it for this build.... What do ya think? Too much maybe?
  5. Had started a build off with Evilone, But lost the computer and couldn't finish it. I am now going to finish it here. To see the original build off click on this link: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.p...t=0&start=0 Here's the progress so far.... Here's the completed custom front roll pan.... Another pic.... And yet another.... And a shot of the custom rear roll pan.... And another.... Let me know what you think, and thanks for looking!
  6. You sold your build? I guess I'll just start a new post then.... Hi Van! Glad to see you too!
  7. Hello everybody! Sorry about disappearing, but my computer malfunctioned. I haven't been able to finish the hearse yet, but I'm planning on it. I got the custom front end done on it, and I'll post some pics of it later.
  8. I like that! That is really cool! Hmmmm.... 1967. I was 4 years old!!!! AY YI YI!!!! If you can find more on that build, I'd like to see it! Thanks for posting that!!!!
  9. Thanks Abe! I'll be working on it again soon. Stay tuned!!!!
  10. I recommend a high speed police escort....
  11. Oooohhhhhh.... Bad pun!!!! Thanks for the great compliment Dennis!
  12. Thanks Clay! I really appreciate the compliments from both you and Led. I've started work on the front, and should have an update soon. Thanks again guys!
  13. Thanks Led! That is nicest comment I've ever gotten about my work. I really appreciate hearing that, it makes it nice to know I'm doing something right. Thanks again!
  14. Thanks Led! I appreciate the comment!
  15. It's Evercoat Polyester putty, sold in automotive stores. It's the best putty I've ever used! It's a 2 part putty that dries in a 1/2 hour, sands very easily, and never shrinks! A bottle of it will last at least 2-3 years(unless you're like me and use it on everything, including the crack in my head!!! ). I swear by the stuff, it works great!
  16. Thanks for the compliment Isu! The wheels came in one of the 7 MPC 1/20th scale Corvette kits I bought, but darned if I can remember which kit. If you want to know which kit, I'll see if I can find the box top and send you a PM. Thanks again!
  17. And now for my next update.... I've added a custom taillight to the rear of the hearse.... Before.... After.... Rear view.... I'm finished with the rear end treatments, I'll be starting with the front end next. Stay tuned!
  18. That is really cool! It looks like a customized slingshot dragster! All you need now is a '60s style Hemi for it!
  19. Thanks guys! I've got the right side fender sanded and matching, next I'll start the rollpans! Had to add a little more putty to the right fender, but now it's right.... Another update soon, stay tuned!
  20. ATTACK OF THE GREEN GOOP!!!! Here's an update of the rear fender customizing work.... I took some sheet plastic, glued it to the body, then added Evercoat two part putty to it.... Then I shaped it with sandpaper.... After I shape the right side, I'll touch it up with some more putty, then do the final shaping. I'll be adding more plastic and putty to it to make the front and rear roll pans. More on that later. Until then, Stay tuned!
  21. Looks great so far! It is a nice model, one of the better ones AMT has come out with. Here's mine that I built awhile back.... Keep us posted on the build!
  22. Well.... I decided to work on the custom console instead.... I'll get to the taillights soon. He4re's the console.... Right side.... Left side.... With dash.... Close up.... Farther back.... More to come soon, stay tuned!
  23. Here's my latest update. I haven't done much to the hearse lately, been pretty busy. I've started the custom bodywork on the front end, here's the pics.... I leaned the headlights forward, and I'll start the taillights next.... Side view.... Another side view.... Comparison to original headlights.... My stretch hearse build next to the build off hearse.... Taillight update soon!
  24. Thanks Jairus! I use a Canon Powershot A-620 7.1 mega pixels.... Canon's have been my favorite cameras for a long time. It gets nice close ups....
