  5. His uncles last name wouldn't be Daniels, would it? I've visited once or twice in my younger years myself...
  6. I know what you mean Jon. I've gone through a few slumps myself. It's one of the hardest things to get out of, but I have faith in ya! Just work on something that you don't have to do any customizing on, or scratch building... That's how I got out of my slump. Love your signature pic! I watch that DVD often! My favorite is the "sedagive/ Abby Normal" Part! LOVE IT!!!
  7. Thanks guy's! It was the most fun build I've had in while. I look forward to seeing yours Ed, should be cool!
  8. Believe it or not, it's a Minwax Wood Finish Stain Marker. It works really well on plastic. I use a base coat of flat white paint, and the just mark it on. I've had people tell me that it'll never dry, but it dries nice and glossy.
  9. The '34 is finished! I have it posted in the under glass section... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24764 Thanks Jake for letting me join in!
  10. I built this for the Farm Truck Buildoff. Thanks go to Jake Bloodworth for allowing me to join! I had a blast!
  11. Thanks Ron! I had a blast building it! Thanks Jake! Sorry I went through so fast with this build, it was just so much fun! I'll still keep an eye out for everybody's builds. Yeah, ol' Bessie won't go near the truck after her last trip into town... Scared the skin right off of her! On the plus side, I did get a nice leather coat out of it... Anywhoo... Here's the interior pics: The interior Hope you like it...
  12. Here's the '58 Thunderbird kit... And don't forget the original Lincoln Futura was a bubble top.
  13. Thanks, but I'm not needing the instructions, I was wondering if anyone made any photoetch piece's, or any thing like that...
  14. I'm looking for detail sets for the Galaxie 1948 Chevy panel truck. Does anyone make them? Thanks!
  15. Ismael was kind enough to make some decals for my Astrovette for me, and I wanted to thank him and let people know he is a great guy! Thank you Ismael!!!
  16. Decided to work on this one again... I need to get it finished. Got the body painted and finished the tow bed... Just need to finish the engine, frame and interior...
  17. "Werner" is a joke... I worked for them for 4 months, and all I got was a headache. I can tell you I learned my lesson about them the first time around. I would rather be homeless and starving then go to work for that bunch again. It took me 4 months to figure out why they had a 2" thick plexiglass window with a small hole cut out between you and the dispatchers... It's because if I could've reached through, I would've choked the jerk...
  18. It's nice to see a positive post! Thanks Dave! I've gotten to the point now where I'm building for myself. I don't enter contests anymore, because I don't need the glory, I'm happy with what I build. It may not be perfect, but I enjoy the ideas that bring it to fruition. It's (to me) a healthy way to live my life, since I don't drink, do drugs, or party. Thanks again for posting this, it's nice to see.
  19. Awesome Jairus! Makes me wanna grab my stick, rub on the Sex Wax, and ride the curls... Now, before you have me banned, a stick is another name for a surfboard, Sex Wax is brand of wax that you rub on the board so you have traction, and waves are known as "curls"... The interior looks really great. You did an excellent job on it. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
  20. Well... It's almost finished. I just have a few small things left to do besides the interior. So the next time I post anything on this will be in the "Under Glass" section. Thanks for letting me build this with you guy's...
  21. Nice Mitch! I love the old drag racers. Nice work on the wheelie bars.
  22. Looks good Jordan! You did an awesome job on the scratchbuilt trailer!!! Looking forward to seeing more of this!
