  1. It's the Fujimi Chevrolet Astro van, kit #18677.
  2. Good to hear from you my friend! Keep yourself safe over there!
  3. You and me both George... And yes, please Harry, end this post, it's run it's course...
  4. No, I don't, do tell BOSS... Are you a licensed psychologist?
  5. Glad to have you on board... Would tomorrow be too soon for an end date? Seriously though I'm thinking a year would work. That would give everybody time to pick a vehicle, and research what options they would like to have on it.
  6. My prayers go out to his wife and family...
  7. Not sure about red... Maybe scallops done in a darker metallic green? Or maybe flames (I'm crazy for flames )?
  8. NICE!!!! That is one good looking buggy you have there. I like the Keystones on it!
  9. Thanks again Bill! This is a wonderful tutorial! Looking forward to your next installment...
  10. Cool! I like the Meyers buggies! Must've been kinda cold driving that in the winter though... I think you'll like it here!
  11. so... That's what h1n1 flu looks like under the microscope... Ugly little bug, isn't it? I voted real...
  12. The second sentence reads: "How about building a kit of a factory stock vehicle, the way you would have ordered it new from a dealership. any vehicle, any year..." So yes you can...
  13. It's not the same AMT company. AMT was sold to Round 2, and I have been in contact with John Greczula. The AMT/Ertl company put out sub-standard kits, but they no longer own AMT. I have read nothing but good things about Round 2, and from what I've seen of their kits I've purchased, I have nothing but great things to say about them.
  14. Hmmmm... I think I liked it better with the grill farther forward. It gave a better view of the engine. It looks too crowded now to me. I would move the grill shell forward to where the headlights are just behind the spring perches. It's whatever way you like it though... It's a good looking build!
  15. I'd say do what you like best. That's the fun of model building! I'm not even sure as to what I'm gonna do yet with the truck, but I like the idea of writing a story to go with it.
  16. Sorry... that should read '70 Superbird... That's what I get for being tired.
  17. The original door that was on the apartment during the shootout is there at the museum...
  18. Thanks! Are you going to have the build off? I'm just curious...
  19. Actually, from what I've read, is that the cars were ordered at the dealerships, then the factory shipped the cars to Yenko (which was a dealership), and baldwin/Motion, who finished the order, and then sold the cars to the people who ordered them. The whole idea is to build it as you would have ordered it...
  20. I have an idea for a build off... How about building a kit of a factory stock vehicle, the way you would have ordered it new from a dealership. Any vehicle, any year... For instance, I would love to be able to go back in time and order a 1971 Superbird, with a 426 Hemi, painted red, bucket seats, etc. etc. The whole idea of the build, and the fun of it would be to research what was available for your favorite car, and adding it to a kit. This would also include such builds as specialty builders like Baldwin/Motion cars, Yenco Chevrolet's, and others. It would have to be built as direct from the factory, with no add on parts by the owner after the car was delivered... Let me know what you think. If enough people would like to do this, I'll set a start date, rules, and end date...
  21. Hey Hans! Glad to see you're working on it again! I'm looking forward to seeing some pics on it. My "Merodder" is on hold right now... I hope to get it going again soon. Keep up the great work on yours, I'm lovin' it!
  22. That is different... And cool! I like!
  23. Thanks Harry... But I do hope that you don't have to deal with a load of PM's. I didn't mean to start a war here...
