  1. Great built and fine color. I love these old AMC:s. Matador Coupe was one of the finest car in 70's. Hope to own one someday.
  2. You are right, '96 RAM should have solid axle. Perry's kit looks more like Dakota ifs but only Dakota kit is Lindberg Sport Dakota and it has promo style chassis so parts can't be from it. Solid axle resin parts are easier to find and thre are several sellers who offers it.
  3. Hi! I'm little desperate. Two Dodge pickup projects is stuck because I can't find VTS 4x4 conversion kits. I have emailed to Perry but no answer. and I can't afford to visit his shop in Canada Is perrys kit scratch built or can those parts be found in othert kits? If somebody has kit(s) to sell please send PM. This is a picture of the kit (I hope) - Kari
  4. Welly Citroen Type H was parted and painted to get more realistic look. This was a nice one week project.
  5. They sell nice Javelin Funny Car resin body and suggest Polar Lights Funny Car kit for chassis. Is Polar Lights kit best choise or is there better donor kit to Javelin? http://www.compresins.com/site/751597/product/CR-4003
  6. Hi! I need Cragar Daytona D-window 15" wheels. Has anybody casted it or can it be found in some kit? http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/crr-342-5160.jpg
  7. No, this model is ready and waiting for spring model car contest. No kits are in progress this time but I'm working with resin AMC/Rambler chassis. Hope to make more correct chassis and suspensions for Jo-Han kits and promos.
  8. Thanks your feedback. This resin kit was nearly perfect, only problems were slightly warped grille and hood.
  9. Crew Cab is ready. It took over a year to built it. Here is some pictures, enjoy.
  10. You have sharp eyes. Crew Cab grille text is really 100 and it shoud be 200.
  11. Nice rusty truck This should be D200 because no '64 D100 crew cab exists.
  12. Nice work. D100 looks much better than Chevy or Ford pickups
  13. This picture is from restored D100 CSS '66 and engine color is yellow. Blue is wrong color but I like it better than red.
  14. Drive shaft is nearly ready but missing paint and carrier bearing. I made working universal joints to make it easier to install. Exhaust pipe is next job.
  15. 1. SC/Rambler, correct model 2. Rambler Rebel '57 3. Matador 71-73 4. AMC Javelin 5. Dodge Town Wagon
  16. Small update. Engine needs upper and lower waterhoses but I don't have any suitable 1.5mm rubber tube. Any suggestion where to find it? A radiator cap in needed too. My model master chrysler engine blue enamel has dried in bottle somehow and I had to order more from ebay/USA. It 's impossible to find it in Finland.
  17. Crew cab has tires and brake lines now. Engine, battery and radiator are still under construction. Hope to get them ready soon.
  18. Some progress has happened. Brake lines and steering parts has been installed in the engine compartment. Next tires, engine, radiator and battery. Radiator needs some correcting because it was originally in wrong position and must be flipped around.
  19. This is my favourite diecast: Brooklin Rambler Rebel 1957 1:43. Real car had 255 hp 327 cu in V8 and it was fastest passenger car this year. The mother of all muscle cars.
  20. Engine is not Ross Gibson quality but not the worst I have bought, only oil pan need a bit more work. Caster is Ken's Customs, Illinois.
  21. I have purchased it and decals but not built yet. Some pictures of this kit with original Jo-han Marlin. Popular hot rodding 10/65 had 6 page article of Bill Kraft Rambler. Specs: - 426 Hemi with hillborn fuel injection, 640 hp - Jardine headers - torqueflite automatic transmission - Marlin radiator and moon tank - narrowed Pontiac '57 4.50 rear with coil springs but no shocks - '56 olds trailing arms - straight front axle with quarter elliptic springs - Cragar wheels - Gates front tires, 10:00x15 M&H rear - Floor shifter with Marlin console - bucket seat, plexi-glass and cage type roll bars - 12 foot Carter cross-form chute - front wheels has moved 4" and rear wheels 11" ahead I have collected most of these parts from different kits. Front tires, headers and trailing arms are still missing. Sorry abot this episode but I'm very excited of the kit. Very nice casting but needs a lot of extra parts and work to complete.
  22. Promolite resin kit Plymouth Savoy 4 dr sedan '61. This kit is amazing, no molding grease and only light sandig is needed before primer. Tom really knows casting. Picture is not from my kit. I got five tires and some extra parts
  23. You mean this page http://benjamin_simons.tripod.com/css/ It seems that D100 and D200 have had one and two piece driveshafts. D200 crew cab is so long It must have two piece. A list of Chrysler engine colors: http://www.houstonmopars.org/specs/moparmotorpaint.jpg
  24. I have pictures of '65 D100 CSS with slant six and engine color is yellow. Does D200 crew cab have one or two piece driveshaft? I can't find any pictures how it is made.
  25. DIY shocks has been assembled, bed has been installed and interior got inner roof, rear mirror, dome light and sun visors.
