  1. Resin Model Ranch sels 4-door Wagoneer 63-73 resin kit and needs Honcho for donor kit.
  2. Nice truck. Do you have more pictures?
  3. Allison has originally 3-barrels carb. Here is link to Allison powered Malibu that has 4 4-barrel carbs. I chose 2 big Holley ultra dominators and I'm sure they are enough for low rpm engine (max 3000 rpm). https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=6&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwieicKuvP3hAhWuxaYKHSoRCQQQFjAFegQIABAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hotrod.com%2Farticles%2Fthrowback-thursday-this-wild-1964-chevy-malibu-funny-car-was-a-street-legal-1710ci-allison-v12-powered-monster%2F&usg=AOvVaw1KVje30tAKpq69TEWbOgij Transmission is Allison 4800 automatic and I have no idea can it be installed on the engine. No reference pictures, sorry. Transmission looks good and fits nicely between chassis rails .
  4. I have started this L-700 project 2016 and originally I thought this to be a rat truck but plans changed during building. Here frame is extended, some parts ready and engine partly made. Engine is Allison V12 V1710 (1710 cu in, 1600 hp) Some WIP pictures: Front and rear wheels and brakes Making rear tandem axles using L-700 parts. Platform testing Gastanks for hugry engine Interior partly ready Cabin painted and test fitted Engine compartment Rear tandem axle Testing custom made aluminium mudguards from Auslowe. Next job is to finish the cabin interior then front mudguards and Kenworth style exhausts. This should be in the "On the Workbench: Big Rigs". Can somebody move it?
  5. I have started Revell Eliminator and engine will be 392 blown hemi with A727 and Dana 60. Actually Revell has cheated us. Real Eliminator has Chevy SB 350 + TH350 but kit has Pontiac V8. Transmission looks like an old flathead manual tranny. There is no timing cover either but only pulleys and belt straight put to the block. No shock absorbers or brake master cylinder. Drive shaft and rear end are old torque tube design not Ford 9" + open drive shaft. Rear suspension is correct transverse leaf spring. Kit has a lot of potential but box stock model is a bit too simple.
  6. It is Modelhaus resin kit. More pictures can be found here:
  7. Thank you guys. A100 is now among the other pickups on the shelf.
  8. You mean this photo: What about it? It was only reference picture of a dash.
  9. Sorry, I don't have a real A100 truck.
  10. Here is a picture of the dashboard.
  11. I used Mipa OC HS spray paint, color code 0-6-01720-500 and it was very near to Dodge truck color Turf Green when I compared it to original Dodge paint chip. In the US it is a lot easier because many paint shops sell aerosol cans with right original colors: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/dodge/1965/all-models/ and many other shops. I can't order flammable spray cans overseas from the US so I had to buy color chips first from ebay.
  12. Dodge A100 pickup is finally ready. This was quite challenging kit to built but It's great that this has been done with all its deficiencys. I really enjoyed to build this because I like old Dodges. Engine is 426 Commando from Lindberg Belvedere '64 kit. Hope you like pictures. On the Workbench:
  13. Thanks guys i appreciate this. I imagined that A100 would have been easy and quick to do but I started it May 15 and much is still to be done.
  14. Kit's tail lights are way too big and not embedded as they should. I found smaller tail lights in L-700 box trailer. A100 tail lights holes have be drilled bigger but not nice job to painted body. Drilling broke the paint and it had to be painted again. Re-painting done and tail light inserted.
  15. Excellent build.
  16. I missed the auction but the bumper is interesting. Is it from a kit or diy made? Here is a screenshot of the bumper. I rotated the picture for clarity.
  17. Thanks. I may try to convert '70 front bumper.
  18. AMT has Monte Carlo SS 454 '70 kit but I'd like to built '71. What are differences between '70 and '71? Are there conversion resin parts to do '71?
  19. Hoses and most interior parts are installed. Next job is dashboard. The dashboard will be glued to the hinge retainers and the body. Actually A100 does not have any hinge retainers at all. They could be tossed away but the hinges should be re-made. I'm not going to do it this time because it is too time consuming.
  20. I started A100 last spring with my eager helper who finds all fallen parts and they can be found in her mouth if you are fast. This is an interesting kit because it is very simple but the body is quite good. Body is missing some details and they has been mostly corrected. Painted body. Colors are Turf Green and Dodge Truck White. Engine, brake and gas pedal are installed. Bed flooring is 0,6 mm lacquered birch veneer. Interior parts: dual gate console shifter, widened doghouse with opening cover for 426 Wedge, better tach and stolen police shot gun. Chassis: steering and brake linkages , better Chrysler 8 3/4" rear end, front and rear shocks, front disks and brake booster. Front shocks were tight to install because inner fenders should be more inwards. Polished body and parts. Next brake and fuel lines and coolant hoses.
  21. Thanks. I think I need both AMT and Revell kits. I have read Revell kit has much better front suspension parts.
  22. I need a good donor kit for Flintstone NB137 1 '29 Ford Tudor. Revell and AMT has '29 Ford kits. Which is the best of them? Revell '29 rat rod? Critical parts are chassis, front suspension (stock) and other front parts. Engine, transmission and rear axle comes from other kit.
  23. I really appreciate your kind words. Engine block is modified from Revell '57 Chevy Pro Sportsman and valve covers modified 58 Christine Plymouth, pulleys are from AMT '70 Super Bee and timing cover&waterpump from Jo-Han Pro Street Rambler. Monogram Heavy Chevy Chevelle gives blower. Engine color is Motip 953664. Header are from the Parts Box.
