  1. Wow that progress is incredible. I'm so impressed by people who can "see in 3D" like this.
  2. I love that the three starting pieces aren't just random cars, but three ICONIC shapes. It's wonderful.
  3. This is very very nice.
  4. Very nice!
  5. Wow!
  6. Beautiful.
  7. Wow, really nice job on one of my favorite childhood cars.
  8. This is really cool.
  9. I agree that those are problems. It also lacks spark plug wires, radiator hoses, brake lines, etc. My plan was to build it straight out of the box. Thanks for all of the feedback everyone!
  10. Cool! There is an orange one of these in my city that is going to get me some day, just a matter of when. Nice model!
  11. Great trim!
  12. Fellow Minnesotan here! You probably know that we are blessed to have Scale Model Supplies and Hub Hobby around here. I also remember shopping at Motorsports Miniatures as a kid.
  13. I just completed the AMT 1925 Ford Model T "2 complete kits in one box", non-chopped coupe version. Paint is Testors/Boyd Pacific Blue. I enjoyed this kit, although there were some key pieces that were warped and you definitely spend most of your time cleaning up parts. As discussed in my workbench thread, I used the metal axle in the front because I was worried about rigidity. Now that I've built it, I believe I could have left it out. The suspension assembly process is really touchy, so I was happy to have the metal piece holding it together through that step. Here are the pics:
  14. Woah that is cool.
  15. That's really nice!
  16. Is this the first build of this kit on the forum? I'm thinking of starting mine soon. I'll be watching!
  17. Cool colors!
  18. Cool!
  19. I would also like to see more pictures in an Under Glass thread.
  20. I like it. Unique style, and the wheels are great.
  21. I suppose I could paint it with the same flat aluminum as the rest of the suspension to make it less apparent.
  22. I know what you are saying about the metal rod. The weird thing is that it actually shows up in the box art. I thought about leaving it out but I worried about overall rigidity, and I would have had to fill the holes in the hubs (not a big deal, I know). If I built this kit again, I would leave it out.
  23. Still need to attach the headers, and maybe put a decal or two on the glass.
  24. Without even opening the thread I know this car, and yep, you nailed it.
