  1. Wow wow wow.
  2. Very nice! I like everything about it.
  3. This is beautiful!
  4. I've spent more time looking at this thread than I have at own bench! This is a classic build. Your approach to painting is great.
  5. They almost look like 1:1 barn finds! You just need to add 1/24 scale pigeon droppings.
  6. This looks great.
  7. Your painting of the door opening / panel line is a detail that makes a huge difference. I'm always conflicted on when a panel line should be painted, but it's perfect here.
  8. I love it!
  9. Really nice work. This is one of my all-time favorite race cars.
  10. This is turning out killer.
  11. Thank you for the encouragement everyone. I am concerned that the colors will "vibrate" once assembled (maybe I need to use extra glue! - model building joke). In my mind I was going for the colors of Petteroes cigarettes, but the blue ended up lighter and the red is much more orange. But you see lots of odd color combinations in club racing, so I'm okay with it. I need to look up the PCA class designations for a 993 GT2, I plan to add those below the number plates.
  12. That interior panel is great!
  13. Cool idea! Are you going to borrow parts from an existing rally kit?
  14. It has very cool stance with those wheels.
  15. Very nice!
  16. That is beautiful.
  17. It's funny that the box says 1:1 because your build looks 1:1! Very nice.
  18. Wow. That is incredible.
  19. I've never seen the 6 modeled before! It's great.
  20. It looks really nice.
  21. I am building the 1/24 scale Tamiya Porsche GT2 racecar. I am building it out of the box. The only difference is that I am not using the kit decals or replicating the Sogo Keibi racecar. Instead I am building it as a club racer “later in life” if it was being campaigned by a rich cardiologist at PCA events. I’m going to use decals from others kits for that, including a red “turbo” script for each door. The paint is Testors light blue with Testors MM Italian red accents. It ended up being much more “Richard Petty” than I planned, but I’m going to resist using STP decals.
  22. I have one to start soon too. These are great so far!
  23. Great color! Very very nice project.
