    I intend to join a club, but I have two little kids at home, and it is really hard for me to find time on the weekends to get out by myself.

    I feel silly about this. I've been going to this car show for 15 years. I currently live 2 BLOCKS AWAY from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, but I did not realize that the wonderful Back to the '50s car show had a model car contest (I never ventured into that building!).     Beautiful models! I love them . Thinking of "Stutz Bearcat" and "Mercer Raceabout", those are some of the greatest names for cars ever created. And wonderful cars too.

    Black paint is tricky, and yours looks great.

    I liked it when I first looked at it, but now I really really like it. The color scheme almost oversimplifies it, but then the engine has great detail.
