  1. Oh man, that is extraordinary. The plumbed oil cooler in the engine cover is really great.
  2. I've started and stopped building many times in my life now. My blocks usually happen after I've actually improved my skills and start a new build where I think "this will show where I'm at now". I start to put pressure on myself and it turns into a complicated process. It's always important to remember it is a hobby done for fun.
  3. Very cool!
  4. They should return to LeMans with Porsche while they are throwing sponsorship money around!
  5. That helps a lot. I will pick up that '29 pick up kit for sure. I always eye it at my LHS.
  6. What is the source of those wheels and tires? I like them.
  7. Really nice! Your work on the black trim is very good. I know exactly how you feel about the decals. I built the Tamiya Castrol WRC Corolla. I studied the decals for a long time and decided against them.
  8. That color is great!
  9. I really love it! There are Fujimi wheels that look exactly like that too - I've always liked them.
  10. Thanks guys! Yes, I love the wheels from that '40 kit. I've got my '40 body painted Testors french blue, and I really wish I could have eight of these wheels and use them for both builds. I started building a flathead for this, but I've changed my mind and I'm gonna use the Hemi from the 5-window kit. I have wires for it. I know a flathead would be cooler, but I really like the looks of the Hemi valve covers, I'm sorry. They are chromed so nicely, and I think they will be great with some paint in the ridges and wires.
  11. Yes, you are right. Seeing a photo helps to decide that.
  12. Just what the this forum needs: ANOTHER '32 Ford. Too bad. I'm buidling it mostly from the box, but I'm using the wheels and tires from the Revell '40 Ford. I'm painting the exterior Tamiya Dark Blue and the interior Tamiya LIght Sand. The wheels are sprayed Testors White. Getting stuff organized: Cleaning up and primering the frame: Painted and light wash on the wheels: Some of my exterior pieces (three coats of Tamiya dark blue):
  13. That is beautiful work.
  14. Jeez that paint is pretty.
  15. I've built this kit once. It's fun to see it done RIGHT! Very nice.
  16. Your output is amazing.
  17. Currently drive a Mazda: It replaced a VW:
  18. What is the paint color?
  19. Really great!
  20. That is/was a nice build.
  21. I have a model closet that I've added a hook and eyelet lock to, but I am sure one day my two boys are going to get in there and wreak havok. I need to add a more substantial lock. Sorry man.
  22. The weathering is great.
