hi all, have not built a model in a long time....a long time, but have decided to plunge back in with both feet.
I got started off at a young age doing snap together funny cars [circa '74], and as I grew up progressed to glue, paint, spray paint, then seemed to have the usual blow them up phase, then back to make them pretty and keep them displayed. Then I got a little older, and gave them all away when I moved out of 'home' [sure wish I had kept them all], then had kids and such, so the hobby went by the wayside for other things.
Well, it's time to get back to it , I have decided to go the big rig route this time around, sort of a tribute to my late grandfather [he sold GMC rigs for years]. I can remember him building some rigs and trailers and I have an AMT livestock trailer that was his in my attic, un built, so I thought it was about time to get back into it.
I've already ordered about a dozen trucks and trailers, so I'll be busy this winter
looking forward to learning from you all,
~tbill
