  1. Yes it did Kevin, but, I bought an aftermarket chute that you construct yourself from (I looked it up) Pro-Tech, they're more realistic than the one the kits come with and cost only $4. I've got it painted Tan 'cause I was gonna use it on another car and didn't, so , I'm gonna paint it black and use it on the Mustang, that's the plan anyway.
  2. I don't have this kit but find it very intriguing. Interested in what you do with this Bill.
  3. Jeff, that is an incredibly nice thing to say, thank you, and , you're welcome. My cat is smiling. Thanks Carl, yer the best man! I'm gonna try and put a 'chute' on the back, I have one from (?) can't remember at the moment, lol, but , it will be black, (if I can get it on there). Thanks for all the responces I've gotten on this build, it's been a challenge, I appreiciate them.
  4. Hello everyone! I did a little detail on the wheels, and , took a picture of the engine bay. Also took some comparison photos of the sides, one shows the car with livery, and , one without. Cheers!
  5. Thanks Kevin, glad you're following this. I'm doing my best to bring this thing to life. I did a little detaling on the wheels last night, I'll post a pick later, thanks!
  6. This is gonna be so cool man, don't get in a hurry, take your time. that engine looks great in there, what color is the car body going to be?
  7. Richard, that front clip is looking great, you are a natural engineer! It's fun watching the ideas you come up with, very creative you are sir! .
  8. Hope this all works out 'cause the basic theme is very cool!
  9. Be careful Ray! I think I saw a thread of your's some time ago with one of these and you know how to fix most, if not all this kits short comings? For the last couple of days I've been telling myself, " I'll never touch another 'Super Boss' kit as long as I live! Then I hear, " you know that's not true, these things are so cool, if you learn how to correct the kits many short comings (wheel base/stance/interior tub) they are beautiful cars. It is a beautiful thing though, I can't help but want to build another one myself. Now all I have to do is get the other side to look as good as this side does, by then I should be a little better with decals. Man , (they are for me at least) right now more challenging than BMF! Cheers Ray, thanks!
  10. Looks really good Bill, I think some clear of some kind on the black body would bring it to life more, just my 2 cents.
  11. Me too Kevin, it's a keeper. Thanks for checking in man!
  12. Steve, Your work is incredible. How do you do your wires on the fire wall? Hand painted, or , Sharpie maybe?
  13. Ok, here it is, the final livery this car lives, or , dies by. Cobbled together from 4 different decal sheets. It's not real but I think it will pass. Giddy-up little pony!
  14. those engines are beautiful Bob! Yes!
  15. ya me too. I got in trouble early on because I was having trouble painting and I would just grab a body out of the box, do a little prep work and shot! that's how this car came to be, body painted, no plan. Oh well, I'm better at painting now.
  16. Kevin, how are you gonna clean the oil from places you don't want it?
  17. Thanks Kevin! It's best to plan ahead which I didn't for this car, it was a test paint car that got out of hand, but , it's shaping up a little.
  18. Looking real good Fred.
  19. Looks like a great project Stephen, lots of potential I think.
  20. You know what Ray, I was just now looking at the photos, after being out for a while, and , the first thing I thought when I saw the car was that it looked ok except for the 'big' 4, I agree. I should be able to get that off with shipping tape, and , I have some smaller numbers that look more like many of the old photos of A/FX (I know it's not) cars I've seen that I can arrange. Thanks for the input! Does anyone know what the proper class designation for a car such as this would have been? A/FX, AA/FX, S/FX?
  21. Great job Brizio!
  22. Livery as it stands right now. I'm thinking of adding one more piece like " Heads by,....." up on the upper front quarter panel, not sure yet. Livery Photos:
  23. Nice work so far Kevin! I love the color!
  24. Have a safe trip Cody, can't wait to see the progress you make on this Camaro!
  25. Thanks Carl for the compliment! If the weather was paint weather I would have tried re-painting (I've never done that before) those lines, but , the weather here right now won't permit that. Thanks for stopping by man!
