The wheels and paint alone make this outstanding! Alclad is amazing!
  6. Very nice man! Great work, and, execution.
  7. The only two washes I know how to make are using enamel/thinner for one, and , the other with artist water based acrylic, using straight water to cut it. I was wondering if people could put up some ways the make washes, and , maybe one using oil paints, and , how they use each. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for that shot Shad, very cool, will help with detailing rear end. Lee, thanks for the info, I've got the driveshaft painted steel. The question I have now concerns the ' over spray ' on the bottom. I haven't been able to find any pics online yet. Should I paint the over spray 'after' the suspension is together? Or, was the body painted 'before' the suspension was assembled? With just the chassis in place? Thanks!
  9. One of the nicest build's I've seen since coming here. Beautiful. In the zone.
  10. Nice, very cool Duster.
  11. Great job Tulio! I like '57 Ford's a lot. Great research too, loved reading the history. Keep 'em coming!
  12. Awsome build Brad, looks very nice. The chrome work (front/rear) is excellent. What kit did you use?
  13. Thanks John, much easier than dark blue and amber!
  14. Ok, what color for the shocks? the instructions say, ' Dark blue ' and ' Amber? Guess I'll go with that. Now that I'm into this I'm just curious what they would have been from factory.
  15. looks good Robert, ready to see this car roll!
  16. Awsome build Steve, I started this kit back in the late 90's, still have it in the box.
  17. Ok, the chassis is gray primer now so I guess I'll leave it that way, makes things easier as I paint outside and windows for painting a far and few, thanks again Casey!
  18. Thanks Casey. I think that first car is a '71 the /6 car looks like a '70. Also, I've found several pictures online with cars that have the chassis/undercarriage painted the body color. Is this something that people have done/ are doing to clones? Because accoring to what has been said in this thread they were either gray, or, black. Like I stated earlier the instructions for this model say to paint the chassis ' body color.
  19. What should I paint the deck wing with? Flat, Matte, or, semi-gloss black? Thanks.
  20. Welcome Brad!
  21. That looks fabulous Rich!

Looks great, wish I could see it up close. Nice colors. Cool subject.
  23. John! You are the man! I mean that's close to what I was thinking too, but, you know for sure they were not 'exterior/body' color? That just seems silly. What was AMT thinking when they put 'exterior' color for the drive shaft in the instructions? Can you imagine a Moulin Rouge drive shaft? Yikes! LOLOLOLOLOLOL
