  1. Wow, that is superb Terry!
  2. How much is a can of Plastikote Primer?
  3. John, and Randy, much thanks for the info! Bill, great info on that web site, thanks for the link! From everything I've read it looks like to me that in 1971 you 'could have' special ordered a 340 Duster in 'Moulin Rouge. Whether or, not that actually happened is no matter. The '71 Moulin Rouge 340 Duster lives!
  4. Thanks Dale, I went ahead and used the Novus, it worked ok. Sounds like Zymol would be worth a try. I know other people that use it. Thanks again for the response.
  5. Very nice work Al, beautiful paint.
  6. Looking for something to add a little shine to the acrylic, I have auto 'wax' and the Novus #1. Thanks
  7. Nice two day build! That color scheme (gold/blue) is fantastic! One of the best color combo's I've seen on a '41!
  8. Very nice job Tom, The color, wheels and stance give the car some nice attitude. Great job!
  9. Wow, before I even get a chance to try Plastikote it might have changed, hope not.
  10. Thanks Mike, I'll try that. All I need to do now is wait for the weather to clear.
  11. Looks 1:1 Tulio, very nice!
  12. Nice build Ian, how did the maiden voyage go other than running out of gas?
  13. Beautiful cars Peter. I hope I can do 'typical' builds this good some day!
  14. Looks good Jonathan, keep 'em coming!
  15. Looks good Ken! Enzo would be proud.
  16. That's Ratical man!
  17. Very nice build Chris, beautiful paint job. I have one of these kits sitting next to my work bench.
  18. John, So where does the 'Penta-Magenta' come in?
  19. As Art states, and according to the 1970 Hamtramck Registry library, Plymouth called it 'Moulin Rouge, Dodge called it 'Penta-Magenta. They show it as being availible in the * Spring of 1970. But, from reading the litrature they show for 1971, it seems possible that you could have 'special ordered' the color. Not sure where the 'Panther Pink' name comes from, maybe some sales/advertising campaign around that time.
  20. Hey Rich, I probably won't be usiung any Testors paint any time soon, no matter. The temp high for today is suppossed to be around 38 degrees.
  21. Beautiful car! Beautiful color/paint job, excellent!
  22. Great job! Beautiful subject car! Joao, keep building cars!
