  1. James, that chassis looks great! It looks , like you said , to have very nice detail. Looks real to me!
  2. Looks good Paul. That model still has an impact, and , SO much potential even after all these years, very cool kit. Nice work so far, can't wait to see it cleared.
  3. Billy, that paint job is really fine man. Good choice on wheels and tires, it fits the car so well. Classic stuff.
  4. Should be able to just about push anything that is moveable with that engine. Cool project! Would they have used 14" wheels on a car of this magnitude? I can't imagine that but I think it was possible in '64.
  5. Looking forward to the next update Seth. Nice work so far, and , it's nice to see someone trying new things as they are building, I'll be watching the breakline work closely.
  6. Cool stuff Erik, where's the gasser?
  7. Great stuff man! That '55 and the Camaro are stunning.
  8. Nice cars Alan, some of those look close to 1:1!
  9. I was thinking that very thing as you were typing your message, but , I didn't put it in my post. Bye, Bye, living room!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Oh Bobby, you got it bad doncha? Just wait,.....you'll have more stuff three months from now then you can imagine. It's fun though!
  11. The one I just got. AMT Double Dragster 'Special Edition' Tin. By far the coolest kit I've 'ever' recieved. Another nice note; Everything in the kit is flawless, no tire, or , valve cover issues! All the parts trees look clean, very little flash. They got this one right! I can't wait to start working on this kit, I'm already working out ideas in my head.
  12. Chris, you're making us all look bad, slow down man! LOL That Tempest is spectubular!
  13. Great build Chris. That car has attitude. Even the placement of the decals is a work of art here.
  14. Beautiful job Chris. I think the 'Critter' something version (plastic was molded in metallic maroon red) of this kit was like my third model as an aspiring 9yr old. Your color choice is beautiful. Which kit is the car from? and which Willy's had these wheels?
  15. John, It's models like these that remind me why I do this. Inspirational work my friend.
  16. LOL, well I know I can use a paint brush, duh. I'm trying to find a way that produces more stable results. I think I will investigate the compass cutter. Thanks you guys and Merry Christmas!
  17. Merry Christmas! And thanks to all those that have halped me in the last 4 months.
  18. Hello everyone! Merry Christmas! I recieved one of my gifts to myself today! The AMT Double Dragster Tin Ed.! It is incredible and none of the problems with valve covers, or , tires that I've read about, everything looks flawless. Coolest kit I've ever owned. Thank you Santa! I want to paint the wheels the way they are on the box art and elsewhere in the kit. I've never tired to do a two-tone (silver/chrome rim with gray spokes and center) spoke wheel before, and so far have only come up with (I found nothing on line) some kind of template to fit over the rim and then one for the center. Will this method produce good solid lines? Is there a tried and true method for doing this? Help! Gene
  19. Looks awsome Ray! That color on that car is superb!
  20. It's gonna be bad! man.
  21. Looks good Robert. Keep going.
  22. Looks great Bruno! Love the Altereds!
  23. Great build Jim! It's Shiney too!
