  2. Sounds like fun, Michael - sorry about the WiFi in Kent but sometimes it's good to get away from it all!
  3. It's all gone very quiet... I personally have no interest in what this particular vehicle is but I am looking forward to the next quiz whatever it might be. Hope Michael is OK
  4. This has gone a bit quiet - hope Michael is OK
  5. About as fast as a BMW 2002tii from fifteen years earlier and with nasty torque steer into the bargain. No thanks!☺️
  6. Seems suspiciously easy but PM sent anyway!
  7. It's interesting if not a great surprise that Ferdinand Porsche who created the VW Beetle was chief engineer at Daimler-Benz between 1923 and 1928 when these Mercedes were under development.
  8. Got it! Thanks Michael, one of the best quizzes so far!
  9. I got as far as knowing it was some sort of Dodge Dart spinoff but couldn't get the specifics!
  10. It's a Photoshop MKIV Le Grande!🀣 Well I know it's not photoshopped but it sure looks like it!
  11. This is one I recognise, although I sort of wish I didn't...
  12. I agree about the Vallelunga, just a shame the engine was the rather dull 1.5 litre Kent 4-pot! This was a great challenge - I did think DKW at one point (for the rear 2-stroke engine) - as well as Lancia (for the front end) but credit to those who got this one. Just shows that for me some of the best quizzes are the ones I don't know!
  13. Spot on, Pat - it does look like a classic Photoshop, the front half of one car and the back half of another. But I've no doubt it is real.
  14. Fascinating, it looks so familiar and I can see a few styling cues but I still can't find it. I'm looking forward to finding out! I like itπŸ˜•
  15. Nice try Russell - but you can't polish a ****😊
  16. Funny how it goes, I thought lots more of us would get this one!
  17. You make so few mistakes, Michael - hope our comments don't put you off the great job you do!
