  1. Your wheels are great! The detail in the engine and the interior is very well done. Looking forward to meeting you at the NNL/West. Look for my Vanwall, Ferrari 801, and Ferrari 246/59, as well as, Ferrari 156/59. I'll have that red shirt on! Patrick
  2. I have a set of Mr. Pinto's wheel/tires and they are beautiful. Yes, not for an old SMER or Merit kit. I plan to use them on an old Hawk Mercedes GP car from 1938. Here this will be worth it. Patrick
  3. Very nicely done Ferraris. This particular Ferrari was a Ecurie Francorchamps team car. It is quite famous because it won the 1964 Tour d'France. Patrick
  4. Thanks gents for the kind words. Patrick
  5. F1 has been a love of mine for nearly 50 years. Some of the car/driver combinations have been favorites of mine. This is a good example...the McLaren M19 and Mark Donohue car. I began with a simple hong Kong toy... I built this model up back in the 1980s as Denny Hulme's car, but didn't change the windscreen... then, last year I was able to buy another toy off of EvilBay and start a true and correct conversion... I used some Cady decals and enjoyed my work... Patrick
  6. Thanks gents. Patrick
  7. I'm Rossa156, I build 1/24-1/25 scale road racing cars like F1, F5000, TransAm and CanAm. I'm stuck in the 1960-1970s and build mostly cars from this amazing time period. At the moment I'm working on a scratch-bash of the Ferrari Indy Project 637 of 1987. My version will be as races, but the car never did race in CART. I've been building models for 60 years...began with airplanes, went to ships, and have focused on formula cars for the past 30+ years. I'm known for scratch-bashing Hong Kong toys and slot car bodies into static models. I had one of my caars, a McLaren M19C F1 photographed at the SoCal NNL this past May and hoped to see it in the magazine, but the coverage didn't happen I guess. I'm here to "steal ideas"! Rossa156
