I look at current engines with all of the uber complicated wiring electronics,and gizmos and shake my head. No way I am going to attempt to detail one of those. I will gladly stick to my '20's /'50's era projects.
I was hoping they were either 3D printed or more likely resin cast due to their extreme size. I watched a video yesterday of the production of s 351' (!)long single blade in French factory. That single blade in 1/25 would be three ft long!
I have and frequently use a Dremel Stylus model battery powered model. It's extremely versatile and easy to use. The charging base is where I parked it after every work session. Great tool that I highly recommend.
I have seen a few scale flat bed truck models on the forums featuring a wind turbine blade as it's load. Does anyone know were the model blades are sourced? Asking for a friend;-)
