Hi........The 10th of February my Friend Luis Ayala ( papin67 , scalebuilder.com)) will have the 3rd ''Muscle Car Model Fest Madness'' At the Bo. Navarro Community Center , Gurabo , Puerto Rico .Were modelers gather to exhibit and compete in more than 20 categories . And the best of all 'The Challenge'' Japan autos vs American autos. Hi.........''The Great Train Expo'' (www.GTExpo.com) will have there event this weekend Feb .2-3 , at the Florida State Fairgrounds , 4800 Us Highway 301 N , Tampa. About 1 hour from Orlando . Believe me it is awsom . I was there in 2007 and wll go again this weekend . More than 80 vendors , big train layouts and fun for the family . You can find almost anything for Dioramas , from N to G scale . So, if you are from Florida or near Tampa and build Dioramas , you must go the this event and $$$$......................'' Hi...ricky moore...there are many materials that you can use , sandpaper , black foamboard , black foam,etc , etc. it all depends in the final finish you would like to have. It is recomended to try many as you can and have you own judgment. I use most of the times Flexi Road materials , the scale is HO but I use the BH7093 HO- Scale Asphalt Road with no lines and just join them to do the wide measurement I need.
