  8. Hi try these guys http://www.hartspartsresin.com
  9. Thx for all the input. Glad it's a good starting point. Now I'm just trying to decide on wheel and engine options. Was looking for the twin scoop hood but can't find one from the usual resin suspects
  10. Hi, how accurate is this kit? Is it a fair representation of the real car?
  11. Rex that Danbury engine looks pretty impressive
  12. Fred, the boss engine from the cougar is an awesome engine but wrong for a boss 351. The boss 302 was a Windsor short block with Cleveland cyl heads. The boss 351 was a Cleveland short block with Cleveland 4v cyl heads. The 302 is also narrow than the 351 too Rex, the Motor city engine looks like it may be based on the 73 Cougar with some improvements/added detail
  13. I had a good look at the engine in the 73 Cougar and it looks like it's a 351c. The only thing that confuses me is that there is an optional version in the kit that builds up with Hemi ie Boss style heads. But valve cover, cyl head and exh manifold shape(in stock form) all point to a 351c - and not a bad one at that too
  14. Rob, I've got one of those kits arriving this week so will double check. Monty, thanks for link, that looks like a good but expensive option. Steve and Brian, the Boss engine is wrong cos it a 302 Windsor short block which is too narrow and incorrect(timing cover area totally different)
  15. Hi, going to building a Amt 71 Mustang and was wondering which kit had best engine to use? Though of ross gibson but he does not do this engine and had the revell 70 Mustang Mach 1 in mind but scale is wrong
  16. Mike use my link in first post to find him Gary, thx for input -was more interested in his gto stuff for now. But his Camaro parts did not go unnoticed not sure if you have ever bought from Kevin @ Missing Link but if you have how does quality compare?
  17. Hi has one bought any of his resin stuff off ebay? Is he a member here? Was just wondering what quality was like? Thx Here is one of his auctions 311192110950
  18. Thx guys
  19. Hi anyone know of a source for wheels like in pic? The car in pic has really caught my eye and want to build one with a 351c or 460. Tried Kevin at Missing Link but not something he has cast yet thx
  20. Hi, if I recall correctly Harts resin has something available?
  21. 28x16x9 mm
  22. If these are the same as I received recently I think the redline is a little too bright/red
  23. I see Modelhaus offer these-could they not help? 1972 Plymouth Barracuda (chrome-plated) Headlight sets, chrome plated
