  3. Its not to bad at all once you start. Here's a big money saving tip. Buy some poster board for patterns, that way if it want fit, you'll know and not lose a lot until you get it right. And there's a lot of scratch builder's on here myself included that will give you tips anytime so feel free to ask. I've been looking in on this build and its looking very cool.

  7. Very nice work on this one Josh I'll be checking in on it as you go. I scratch build and customize a lot of my models and know what's involved in building it your way. You got a lot of time in this one. It's looking real nice.

  9. Looks like we'll have to take this one a change it in to a newer W 900 L. I know its an older style truck but here are some things I'm going to do to it. Update the hood,Double square lights,Vortex style air cleaners,Texas style bumper.Cab,Sleeper and Hood stainless trim. Aerodyne Studio sleeper,New style bullet and running lights and a few other things and it will be a very nice looking W 900 L. I'll be making a lot of parts for this truck,if anyone wants some send me a PM and I'll give you a list. The sleeper will be offered in plastic not resin. This is what I'm talking about doing.

  11. Added you to my daily prayer list Brian Thank God no life was lost. And I have some Mopar kits,I can send one or two your way when your ready to build again.NO COST TO YOU. That offer is not about keeping you on this forum or in the hobby. I just know it helps me releave stress, to build when things are on my mind. Send me a PM or e-mail at ewaskew@yahoo.com put it on file. God bless you and your family and I hope it works out good for you. Earl
  12. Welcome Michael I agree with Swamp Dog on this one. Look forward to seeing some of your builds. I like all of them but the Wrecker is the best one of all to me.
  13. Nice and clean,it looks real good.
  14. Check your pm about some airline sets.
  15. Very nice Chevelle man. That sanding through just happens sometimes. I sand very lightly and hold them at an angle to see how its going and I keep it wet, wet, wet as I sand. Looks like you had no problems with the Chevelle.
  16. Another well detailed build Mark you do some very nice scratch building man. Keep posting and building.
  17. Man that is some nice work, this is looking real good.
  18. That came out very nice William Your two tone paint job looks good. Any time you mask one off for a two tone or multi colors heres a tip. Tuck the tape down inside the seams as your laying it on there. After its taped off and ready for paint FIRST spray some clear coat over it,that will help keep it from bleeding under the tape onto your other colors. I'm not knocking your paint job at all this is just a tip. And don't be scared of posting anything on here,we are just models builders here to help each other any way we can. Great o/o rig man it looks real good.
  19. Two custom Auto Carriers KW and a Pete Stinger style. Both of them will have my scratch built parts on them. Stainless Bumpers,Air Breathers,Battery box's,Big Pipes,Tool box bodies on the rear like the Can Do wrecker. Detailed rims and Engine lines Air lines where they will be seen,Hyd lines,Aluminum Hyd Cylinders. A lot of stainless trim and a nice set of my Air and Electric lines. And Custom Hood's Loaded with some nice rides. This is one built some time back not a lot of custom stuff on this one but it got me to thinking about the other two listed here. These are my scratch built lines that I will be using.
