  1. Looking very good Dennis I waite days before two tone OR striping anything. And when I tape it,I spray a coat of clear on before painting to keep it from bleeding through.
  2. How about putting it here with a little background on it. It looks good but more photos would be better. Thanks Earl
  3. It's looking good I like the one of a kind builds.
  4. I got a 1/16 scale dukes charger And it will be diffrent, lot of interior parts to be built to make it less of a race car.
  5. You can stick a double layer of masking tape on both sides of your door line and if it slips the tape gets the damage. Like someone said take your time. I cut the doors and trunk on a 1/12 scale 69Camaro and it took 2 hours, but the end result was worth the extra effort. As for using the sewing thread I found out that I didn't have enough hands for that'when it came to working it back and forth and tring to hold the body while I did it.
  6. I'm another one that wants to see the how to on this style of hinges also. The truck is looking good also.
  7. I saw one and they look stupid. Those that buy these may think there saving the world one dorky looking car at a time. What they realy think when they drive down the road is this. I hope a rabbit or a cat don't run out in front of me and I hit it. Because if that happens my car will be totaled out and the little animal will keep running. Then I will be mad.
  8. Extremely nice build, the details are very good.
  9. This was my first big rig build combo at age 13. Lot of parts at that age. However it got finished and was pretty well built. This time it will be Customized. The trailer will get the rims from the donor K-123 kit, and it will have custom fenders. From this To this
  10. Prayers have been said May God give you and the others the strentgh to get through this. God Bless
  11. I have about 1,000 kits of all kind most are Big Rigs, Cars and Pick up trucks. Two Grand kids Boy and a Girl that wants to build. My wife says she will keep all of them if they dont want to build them. My Grand Daughter and I have talked about this and she knows theres enough for even her children to build if they want to.
  12. Brett either way it will turn out good the way you build them. As for the spoiler the last one looks like a COT style not my taste. But its your build,I would also build a more up to date spoiler like the first one. Then again this is how the one one my Camaro turned out.
  13. This is one I ran across today. It's been packed away and moved around since 1985. Tell me what you think. It will be built this year. All I did was wash and wax it. I'm Proud of this old kit and have to get it built.
