  8. Hello Alex! Welcome to the Group, I'm glad to see more young modelers. It is great when you can share your hobby with a son, or daughter! I hope you and your father will have many years of enjoying the Model Car Hobby together! CHEERS!

  10. Very Nice Five-Seven!!!! CHEERS!
  11. BEAUTIFUL Bubble Top!! I've always like the Bubble top more than the IMPALA from 62, Lighter and Faster! CHEERS!
  12. These aren't the same as the Citadel Ink Washes that were around when Ral Partha went under. These new washes are Acrylics and aren't as intense as the old Inks, also being Acrylic washes You should add a couple drops of matt medium to them to keep the pigments from seperating. I use Citadel Paints all the time to paint Fantacy Wargamming Figures. Yes Skull white is good for painting white sidewalls. These paints are also great for painting interiors, and they have some very good colours for painting leather, and wood grain. Don't paint out of the jar as these paints will dry out on you if you do, and add a few drops of distilled water to them every time you use them. Always use a Pallet when painting, so that you don't ruin a bottle of paint, also using a pallet when brush painting gives you better control of how much paint you load into your brush! CHEERS!
  13. You can buy Them at any shop that sells Games Workshop Figures. The names of the Colours come from the Warhammer Fantacy Battles, and Warhammer 40K games. They are sold at Games Workshop Stores, Miniature Wargaming Stores, and Comic Shops that also sell Games Workshop Games and Figures. Some of these same stores also sell Valejo Paints that are the Best Acylic paints available! CHEERS!
  14. This Kit if aimed at Slot Cars Racers. I have three of them built on Brass and Piano Wire Chassis with varius motors and running Gear. I really like This kit. You did a good job on the livery! CHEERS!
  15. Looks like it will be a good build. I'm also a fan of these kits! CHEERS!
  16. I have used this, and it works just as well as the Flocking sold by Detail Masters. CHEERS!
  17. I know a few of the people involved with the USF1 team in Charlote, and they are saying that Bernie is putting every roadblock he can in the way of a US team being Successful. Seems Bernie is holding a grudge over Tony George refusinf to pay over twice as much for an F1 race than any other country! CHEERS!
  18. I always figure that if it didn't win. it's not going to the next year. Having one of my builds fail once is more than enough for me! CHEERS!
  19. Man You have some very old and rare Slot Cars in that group of cars. Where do you race? CHEERS!
  20. I bought the Cougar when Dave first cast it. I have also bought, Cheetha, and a 510, they were all first class castings! CHEERS!
  21. My Grandfather bought me a Paasche when I was 8years old and I still use it today. In my oppinion the Paasche H model with a number 5 needle and cone is the best for painting model cars! I own two H models, and one of the new HS models. Double action brushes are great for painting military models, but a waste when it comes to Automotive models, the one excepyion to this is clear lexan Slot Car Bodies when you are doing wild designs to make it easier to pick out your car from the other seven on the track, and they are moving at around sixty plus real1:1 mph.At this time I own the three H models, and two VLs. I have owned an IWATA double action, but I didn't care much for it,I do better work with the VL. I have also owned Badgers, but ended up selling them and Going back to Paasche. You can't beat the quality of Paashe with any other airbrush, you can spend more, but for what, bragging rights? CHEERS!
  22. Nice Coyote! I have the Same Model and they are very, very quick with the FF1 motor, I tamed mine down with a 14.500 RPM Motor, and I race it in vintage racng. It does very well on the Tracks we run on, including my own Road Course. CHEERS!
  23. Very nice build. You created a very authentic looking Model A, with your paint work. CHEERS!
  24. I have always liked the AMX. I owned one Orange with black strips. It had the Highest rated 390 and could turn high 13s. The kit reminds me of the JoHan kit. You can build a nice model from it! Keep us posted with updates! CHEERS!
  25. The Ford Small Block from the Revell 32 ford kits fit without to much hassle! The 8CM Flathead from the Revell 50 Ford F1, would be great if you are building a traditional Lead Sled! CHEERS!
