  8. Cool trailer! Does it come apart in the front for loading/unloading? Has anyone ever built a hopper bottom?? Love the creativity:). Thx!!
  9. As an infant....... they called me...... little kernel. Dad drove a 73' transtar for his folks hauling grain and livestock. Spent hours upon hours riding in a white one, that I actually drove as an adult (a little). Love the old cab overs!!! Keep posting, thx!!
  10. So after a little less than 48 hrs. The cab came pretty clean!! The Zep cleaned it right down to the primer. I left it soak last night to loosen the remaining paint, (a few corners and what not) but a tooth brush was all it took to finish! Worked well, thanks again for the help!! Let ya all know how the new stripes go, hopefully if the next week or so!
  11. I got a cab that needs striped!! Got time??? Ha, cool!!
  12. Well I picked up a jug of Zep degreaser and started the soak sat. night around eleven...we'll see how it goes! Now for the root of my situation, I am still new, but I can't pass up a chance at some sort of stripe for this cab. The door/compartment lines and rivets are sort of in the way of successfully masking and painting without more leakage between colors than I can stand. Hence the bath! I read the other day that once the masking tape was applied to hit it with a shot of clear coat, then the color. Thought I would give that a try this time. Open to any more ideas from more experienced builders. Thanks!!
  13. Cool! Thanks for the info!! Let ya know how it goes;)
  14. Castrol from the parts store? And sorry, what is purple power??
  15. Hi guys, gotta 352 cab that I am not happy with. Time for a second take, I've never stripped a piece, what works best???
  16. Sweet, love the stripes! Nice job! Sweet, love the stripes! Nice job!
  17. Nice ride, where can I find a visor like that? Also dig the colors!!
  18. What exactly are the odds that the 9670 will go into production?? I am new to all this, as my photo in the corner shows, I would be very pumped to get my hands on something like that!!! How often does a new product come up for support from consumers? And when was the last new product?
  19. It isn't to bad a kit, watch that when you paint the inside of the back doors that you don't clog the track for the end gate. ( also watch the glue when you attach the rails for the end gate). The red one is the first one I have done since I was a kid, it went together better than the 352 "round two" that I am working on now. Have fun!
  20. Like the mud flaps! Cool truck!
