  3. Never thought about the lint. Well I think i will stick with patience as that is what I have always done.
  4. I don't have a dehydrator, but what I do have is a rack that fits into my dryer to keep things stationary. Do you all think this would work for drying paint?
  5. Yes I am going to do it as an A12.

    Shelby 350R

This is my latest build, I started this 3 years ago. This was before finding out about all the tips and tricks for making a good model. This is probably my best build, not a very good one. here is a bigger photo.
  10. Thank you mike, I actually have some bondo though it is probably 10 or better years old.
  11. I got a little crazy with my Exato knife and need to add some filler to the scratch. I was wondering if there is anything I might be able to pick up from the local hardware store. there is a model shop about 45 minutes from my home but the hardware store is only a few blocks, and the local Wal-mart does not have anything.
  12. Nice topic! I have basically driven (for the past 20 years) Ford crown vic's, the police cars. We get them at state auctions. My wife drove a white squad car (1986 crown vic i believe) when I met her. I now drive a 2004 Chevy Impala State trooper car. I plan to do a build of the Crown Vic Cop car some day, probably a 2000 something model. I would love to own a Ford Mustang from the 60's.
  13. This is interesting I will have to look into Shapeways, I want to add some air scoops on my super bee that did not come with the kit. I never thought of doing them in CAD and having them printed in 3D. As a Cad drafter I have seen some pretty neat things done with a 3d printer. It's a great tool for prototyping and I think it will add a lot to the world of modeling.
  14. Thank you, I just started a 69 super bee, last week that I plan to try some new skills on maybe I will post my progress.
  15. In Minnesota you have a sticker in both lower corners ( unless the plate is new then it is only in the lower right hand corner). one is for the registration month the other is for the year, which is changed every year. Plus you get a new plate every 7 years.
  16. Hi sincitymedic, this is my first day here and I am also from the twin city area. So how are you liking the warm weather here.
  17. Hi all, I have been putting models together off and on since I was ten ( a little over 30 years). I have been getting more involved in it now for the past 8 years ( with a 2 year break, LOL). I say I am a beginner because even though I try to add detail and paint them I had no Idea one could do the things I have seen with model cars until recently when I was doing research on model cars. So I have decided to step it up a notch, Improve my skill and also talk with like minded people.
