George, just a question. How did the cab tilt when they had those wing flares to match up to the pump body? greg ps Nice to see your still building -
Seeing a lot of trucks with plows, so I'm throwing in my two cents with this old Ertl kit with the MPC Jeep plow scratch built auxiliary headlight bracket greg

Well were on the subject of rescue squads and TV shows. This is the 1970 Dodge from the pilot movie for the 'Emergency' series. Thanks to Charlie Rowley for the cab and decals, conversion of the grille to 1970, scratch built body, and many stills from the movie finished off this model.

I had the opportunity to visit the original maker of this casting way back in the 70's, He was trained in master mold making as in casting masters for steel, He was a mechanic at a Mack dealership. He made these in an out building and he made them with the intention of making display trucks for Mack and Mack enthusiasts. the model making and selling was second nature since he could sell what he made after making the original for a display. I understand the drawbacks of his models but they are the only ones we have and if you want to build one it is the closet your going to get unless you want to take two R cabs and sat sawing Very nice truck. I have one waiting to become FDNY Super Pumper Tractor greg

Built this on first release Ford pick up. Holmes wrecker completely scratch built, no midnight cowboy parts. Humbrol # 20 red airbrushed, Aurora wheels, All boom functions work, and it will tow model. Interesting I can't move pictures from Photobucket to here. followed the video instructions and it freezes with the pop up window and I have to exit the whole forum to unlock the freeze

This was to celebrate the promotion to battalion chief of three YFD firefighters of Italian descent. battalion chief became Italian chief. The YFD logo became green instead of gold, the Escalade was chosen because all good Italians have Cadillacs. Tamiya pearl white and ALPS printed decals. Vehicle symbolizes Italian national colors of red, green and white
