All I can say after going through this 40 page odyssey is WOW! I have always loved AC's Lotus and to have a brother who has an Elan with the Cosworth, I appreciate the great work in reproducing some of the engineering on this model, Well done, greg

I found the only picture of the dealership on display in Toledo at the Toy Collector's fair when we had space for displaying in the club room. The negative was half exposed so it is not all there Greg

1978 Ford Ranger Short Box
GLMFAA1 replied to Chris White's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Very nice job on the short bed, I did one a long time ago with the first release in the 70's I used two left side to get the right wheel wells. filled in the spare tire door on the side and eliminated the front cap of course the spare tire hump could be a nice place for the sound system greg -
The hood should be anti glare black to fit the plane motif, lic. suggestion '12 0CLK HI' greg

Really like all your projects, One question, on your gas tank in the boat, Wouldn't the gas tank be one of those portable with the hand pressure bulb? I think I spied one in the pictures you posted of your real boat. Did you ever think of foiling the boat? The Jeep camper is neat. I have the Maisto HD collection and would like to do a service HD in Police scheme do you know of any dimensions in 1/25? greg

Nice progress, would you need a CDL/IFR license? greg -
Nice job on the model, I grew up working on my Mom's Chevelle, just wish I noticed this sooner, the door arm rests are chrome with panel color pads. It was just a lady's go to church car, Aztec bronze, black interior, 283 w/power slush greg

Did this one when Monogram first released the 427 Cobra, Used the MPC Korean Jeep, Tamiya soldiers, gumball from JoHan PD car, the Revell 59 drop top passenger, and Peggy Lipton Mod squad figure. Updated weapons with MPC 440 cop car guns, radio pack from jeep kit, made home made California plate, I had Military police logos on the jeep and arm patches but jeep is marked USMC, so I suppose they should be shore patrol (SP) If anyone can correct me let me know if they would be SP of MP's greg

Paint Strippers - What to Use?
GLMFAA1 replied to pbj59's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I just tried purple power and like the results, Just soaked over night a model I painted in the 70's and tonight the paint is at the bottom of my container. I use a Scotch pad to remove the rest. I was an oven cleaner advocate but the purple power has sold me, It was on sale at AutoZone last month Don't know what the shelf life of using it is, but I have stripped 3 models so far and it still works greg
