  1. Thank you and happy you liked the model. The carb I stole from the Revell Sox and Martin Cuda kit.
  2. This project is Finished and can be viewed Under Glass.
  3. Finished this today. I have to say that I am very happy with how this kit turned out. The only disappointment that I have with this kit are the tail lights. They are not the greatest looking but other than that I really enjoyed this build I will do another RR but maybe a stock version, we'll see. I'm not sure why but after I painted the hood I noticed it came out lighter than the rest of the car. I'm not really concerned about it since this model is for me and not for shows. I would like to thank Cesar Bossolani for sharing his ideas and techniques with me. Hope you all like the end result. Enjoy.
  4. Don't know if you saw my reply to your comment on my thread but just thought I would reiterate what I wrote. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on your GTX and also glad that you decided to start this project. In my own opinion those years for MOPARS were the greatest.
  5. Thank you. Painting is the best part of building for me. Glad you liked my project.
  6. Lol...Glad I was able to help in some way.. Send some pics of your progress when you have a chance. Thanks again for the compliments.
  7. Thanks everyone. I appreciate your kind word.
  8. Andre, I totally like what you have done to this kit. I have this kit in my stash and after seeing how nice yours is turning out I am looking forward to building mine. I am going to do a tribute to my dad's when he had his back in the day. I can't wait to see it done. Keep up the good work.
  9. Nice work. The color with the blacked out bumpers and rear panel look good together.
  10. Update 12/10: Made some good progress on this. I'll be calling it done soon so the next time I post this project it will be Under glass. I'll let the pics do all the talking. Hope you like what is done so far.
  11. I finished the interior tub tonight. I used the racing seats from the 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit. Cut out the stock dashboard and graphed in a dash from a stock car. The gauges I used were left over from the 49 Merc kit I finished a while ago. I scratched built the shifter. This was also my first time using flocking powder and adding seat belts. You can't see it in the pictures but I added a carbon fiber decal to the back of both seats. I'm thinking I should have used a lighter decal. I wanted to try adding speakers but I could have spent a lot of money with all the things I wanted to do so I just added what I mentioned. I also should've made my own gas pedal as the one molded into the tub isn't seen at all. Tell me what you think. I don't mind constructive criticism. Thanks for looking and thanks again for all of the nice comments.
  12. I'm looking to seeing the progress to. What did you use to rub the paint off of the BMF. I want to try this technique on future builds. Also, do you first spray the color on and rub it off before spraying the clear coat.
  13. Amazing!! Another awesome build.
  14. Nice build. I don't think I agree with you being out of practice . You did an awesome job.
  15. Nice paint and I like the stance. This is looking good.
  16. Just finished polishing the body. It has a few flaws but I think it came out pretty good. Also wanted to give a preview of the look I'm going for. The pic isn't that great but it will give you the idea. Thanks for all the nice comments I appreciate them.
  17. How do I update my existing workbench posts with out having to start a new topic when I want to show progress.
  18. Its been awhile since I posted anything. We have moved back in to our house since the fire. I got my work shop back and have started working on this build again and actually made some progress. Started some of the paint work and almost finished the engine. The color is Testors graphite dust with Wet look clear haven't polished it yet and the engine isn't accurate but I'm working with what I have. Still have a lot to go but its moving along.
  19. Looks good so far . One suggestion, try using lacquer paints like Tamiya or Testors One Coat lacquer paints. Really good stuff and I think they are easy to use. I have had some nice results with them.
  20. They are all awesome builds. Nice work, I especially like the chargers and the roadrunner. Those are my favorite MOPARs
  21. Only car I have an interest for is the Caddy. The truck even though is a sharp looking custom is just another F100.
  22. It looks awesome...nice work.
  23. This is a cool project. You've done a good job so far.. looking forward to see more.
