  1. I have a quick question about mock up. What do most of you guys use to mock up your models? I've been using tape but when comes to mocking up small parts like spindals and axles to adjust the ride hieght or engines to check clearences tape just doesnt work well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Its been a long time I've posted since the fire although I have been looking at all the awsome builds but I had to comment on this build... I like the way you are building this RR. Everything is turning out great and I like the street machine look. I can't wait to see it complete. Watching everyone's builds especially ones like this make me look forward to building again.
  3. Well I had an unfortunate event happen a couple of weeks ago. My house caught fire and most of my modeling supplies, tools, and kits were lost including this project. I had hoped that after the fire it would have been saved but while our things were being itemized it was lost. I was able to get back a couple of kits but I guess I'll have to start over when I am able to. Most importantly my children, wife, pets and I are all safe and unharmed. I won't be doing any builds for awhile as we are now in the process of rebuilding our home and lives. Sorry for the bad news....I was really into this build but forces out my control ended it abruptly. Well take care and hope to be back soon.
  4. Looks good...you got the stance perfect. Looking forward to seeing more
  5. Sorry about the poor quality pics. I hope you can make out what I did. I'll try to take better pics next time.
  6. Here are some more pics of the modifications that I did. I smoothed out the inner fender wells so that the engine compartment had a cleaner look. i also cut about an 1/8th inch off the bottom of the firewall, radiator support, and inner fender wells so that I could get it to sit low. Next step will be the suspension mods. Here are some pics of the progress.... Well I wanted to down load more pics of my progress but for some reason it wouldn't work but at least you can see how the engine compartment turned out. Feel free to ask any questions.
  7. This is going to be BAD A@#. So far all the mods are really giving it a cool look. I can't wait to see more. Awesome job.
  8. Looking good so far. I have the same kit and want to do it pro touring as well. Can't wait to see more.
  9. Nice build and paint.
  10. I'm may be biased cause I love MOPARs but this Charger is sweet. I like it very much. Nice work.
  11. Your friend will be very happy....you did a fantastic job from paint to interior. Well done.
  12. WOW....beautifully done.
  13. I like your idea with how you mad the flares and they look awesome on the body.
  14. I agree with Cliff on the spindals being too long. I found that you can adjust the stance of the car by cutting off the pegs for the wheels and repositioning them so that it will have the stance you want. Other than that I think you did a great job on this build.
  15. I like where this is going. The concept is cool..I'll be watching.
  16. Nice, clean build. I think it looks good. I wouldn't worry about what everyone else likes all that matters is what you like. Keep up the good work.
