So here's an update and some pics showing the direction I decided to go with. I'm just getting started so I haven't done much but its a start. I drilled out the side marker lights and filled them in and shaved off the door handles. I'm probably going to use the door handles from the 68 charger kit as they are a lot nicer and more realistic.
Thanks guys for your thoughts it helps a lot. I'm going to go with the pro touring look....I really like that look and lower it down some more. Still not sure about the wheels.
Just bought this kit, so technically I haven't started it yet but I wanted to get some opinions on a set of wheels that I have they are Pegasus Phat daddies. I thought about building it as a pro touring/restomod and considered a stock look as well. I like these wheels and the look of a pro touring Roadrunner but not sure if they are a good fit. The color I'm going for is solid red keeping the wheels chrome. I also like the stock muscle car look but wanted to do something a little different. Here are some pics let me know what you think. Thanks
HOLY BLEEP!!! This is just amazing, the fab work, detail, and paint its all just brilliant. GREAT JOB. I hope that I can learn to build like that some day.
Looks real nice and the paint looks good too. I've never polished or used future clear on the body of my models just on small parts and engine bay parts but from what I read and from watching some videos using used dryer sheets seems to work for polishing future clear. Good job.
