  1. Ive also built some Lindberg kits and like that they have a lot details. I built the 1991-1994 Explorer a couple of years ago and everything fitted nice, so nice that I bought another one to make the Eddie Bauer version. Im building the Chevrolet Blazer from Lindberg right but I have trouble with getting the parts to fit in that kit.
  2. Dont Know about the resin products but I have bougt some Monogram kits from Steve at Star Models and that have been a nice experience. I had no problems with transactions or delivery.
  3. Thanks for your help but its not exactly what Im looking for. Im appending some images of what type of wheels Im looking for.
  4. I just received my 85 Impala from Modelhaus and also the dog dish caps from Modelhaus. I now wonder where I can find some proper wheels and tires for this model and caps? Im planning to use the Revell Caprice (Taxi / Police) as donor base model.
  5. I just bought a 1985 Impala from Modelhaus and I'm planning to build a LAPD unit. And are curious about a few things - Did LAPD use 1985 Impala? If not which year models did they use? - what interior colors did they use? - Did they use bench seats ? - Did the rear seat have seat belts ? Photos would also be appreciated

  9. Depending on what this results in I might also be interested. I would however prefer a complete kit with detailed undercarriage, wheels and engine. I even posted a suggestion on revells site. http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/5462/ http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4942/
  10. Edit: I have to correct myself here, apparently its a Hot bulb engine. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCSMOXcTMYQ
  11. I bought this one from a chinese seller on ebay.
  12. Thnx for your nice comment
  13. I'm planning to build a Dodge Grand Caravan (Lindberg kit) and needs some good reference pics of the underside of the car. So any underside pics of a third-gen minivan would be highly appreciated.
  14. In the 80s the Chinese car company Beijing Jeep Corporation had a joint venture with AMC. This resulted in a local production of the Jeep Cherokee in Beijing.
  15. Fantastic build! Whats color did you use to that rust brown thingy on the rear suspension ?
  16. Thought I should share some pictures of my current project, a factory stock Chevrolet Blazer.
  17. Thank you for your interesting information about the colors and materials on the different parts, MCM Regular, helped me a lot. Since last time I also bought a 1995 brochure whit a nice cutaway view in it that also helps. Now I have a question about the side mirrors, I've done some image searches. On some photos the side mirrors and outside door handles appear to be gloss black and on some matte black, which is correct?
  18. I just bought a 1995? Chevrolet Blazer kit from Lindberg. The goal is to make it look like it just arrived from the factory. What i wonder about is colors of undercarriage and engine. Any photos of the engine and undercarriage in "factory" colors would be highly appreciated.
