  1. Welcome to our styrene wonderland Mike.
  2. Thanks Chuck. I kinda thought that, but wasn't sure. I may get one, I have an idea to modifying it.
  3. That would be great idea to have it all match. Nice progress so far.
  4. Yep, few and far between. He requested some pics of a 1:1 truck. I got them, emailed, haven't heard anything.
  5. The Peterbilt air bag set ups are typically 40000 pound rears. The Hendrickson extended leaf and rubber mount usually have a higher weight capacity. It gets much more technical when you start figuring in weight limits of tires, state laws and so on. But hope that gets the gist of your question.
  6. It definitely looks like something out of the Walking Dead. Very creative.
  7. Those look awesome Tom. I'm sure this will be a jaw dropping unit. It would be really cool to see your load Chevys sittin next to Dan load of Mopars.
  8. Very nice. That's very cleaver hiding the turbos under the rear quarter panels. Looks great, well done.
  9. Cool lookin hot rod. That highlight makes it hot.
  10. It seems like the bluer strips are the right color, maybe a little clutch dust might give it the right tones. I know it's tough when the reference pic looks like it's been through the washer quite a few times. If your done experimenting, I'd go with the last shot held up against the your trans, it looks the closest for my eyes.
  11. That's a very good possibility. There may be a boot from original cab to the addition. It's hard to tell though with the low quality pic. The seam from what looks like the originals to addition, appears to have rivets on both sides of the body seam.
  12. This looks really cool, kinda wicked. Very nice job Kerry.
  13. There's a lot of room in the doghouse. It wouldn't need to lift very high to be able to access the engine. But I'm sure they have some fancy way of working on it. I'm thinkin kinda with Ace, removable doghouse.
  14. Congrats man. I'm can't wait for our first little creation to get here.
  15. Nice work Terry. That's some fancy work on the grille shell.
  16. I'm love this movie, even still today. Will be following this build.
  17. They are very easy and simple to build. It doesn't take very much work to make these a very nice truck. A little lacking on detail, but a great way to cut your teeth on customizing.
  18. I'm think those are 3 sections of road display from Italeri.
  19. That looks fantastic outside Dan. It was really cool to watch this come together. Can't wait to see the next truck.
  20. Man. That looks amazing. Your getting real close on the colors of trans blanket. Trans looks really good in paint. It's almost a shame your cover the trans, all that detail will be hidden.
  21. Welcome to our group. I too build what I can't afford. I'd rather have it on my shelf than not at all.
  22. I just got this in the mail today and opened it up. I am pleasantly surprised by the detail that this little snapper has. No engine, it is curbside but it has brake detail. If it weren't for the sticker decals, this could be a show piece. But I'm not concerned with the level of accuracy or anything. It's just gonna sit on my shelf.
