  1. That is really nice, good job
  2. Thanks for tips mark, ill sure give it shot. Im glad you said something about the other colors, im lookin for a spray to give the jet hot look or acid washed aluminum. Thanks again man
  3. Yeah thats what i thought. Your just here to create drama, stir people up. Like i said, this forum is just like the radio, if dont like what see here, dont get on it. I dont know who you think you are to talk me like that, call me a hot shot, with a name like that, im sure she has said for you to cool your jets. Because of a person like you im really thinkin im not gettin on this forum anymore. Theres a lot cool people and 1 jerk that only wants to create problems, ask stupid questions. If dont like even reading the topic of the thread, then get it deleted otherwise just sit there and stir somebody else up, the last time you had some rude comment about what i said, i let it go. Now here you are again, your creating drama and lifes too short for people like you, im really thinkin this is my post, for sure on this thread, ive spent too much of my saturday morning dealing with this
  4. Mark i just noticed the paint scheme inside the hood, now thats an area often over looked. Usually un painted or over sprayed or painted a basic color. You brought the whole thing under the hood. Great job.
  5. Thats what my LHS told me. Just poor it straight into the a/b and spray. Guess i need to ask more ?s. This is the 1st time ive seen it actually look like chrome, thats why id really like to know what mark used for the base. I want to learn the right way, so the results are close to this.
  6. Plastic-models.com is a decent 1. Its tower hobbies plastic site. Hobbylinc.com has some good deals, and of course ol' evil bay, ive gotten quite a few good deals on there. Keep your eyes open on here, there might be some possible trades and deals for parts. This is a really friendly forum full good people.
  7. If you dont get the thread then dont get on it. We were (appropriately) kicked off another post, this is what the conversation was about before. Dont comment until you know whats going on. It was started to be just as its titled, a post where the big truck guys can post ideas, comments, test shots, news, rumors or whatever about moebius. The KW was a suggestion and was just clearing up what seemed to be a little confusion. We are waiting to see test shots of the new trailer or maybe a more precise release.
  8. Lookin good chuck. Very nice work, weathering, and stuffing that motor under the short hood
  9. Ive never done alclad. I have a bottle, been wanting to use it soon. Is it true you have to use the same brands black for the base coat
  10. That is gonna be 1 cool old school lookin custom wrecker. Good job on the wheels
  11. That is awesome. I like the flush deck plates. It looks great. Good job
  12. Heres a 660. The 680 and 700 from KW are completely redesigned to replace the t2000. The 660 is the replacement for t600. Heres a pic of a really good lookin 660.
  13. The 660 is a different style, than the 680, completely. My suggestions were for moebius, id like to see them make those. We cant rely on revell only. Moebius needs a suggestion board like what revell has.
  14. The revell tanker is discontinued, but that does mean the tooling exists. Thanks dave, were dyin to see the new trailer, nobody has seem any pics of it and its gonna be released here soon, a teaser shot would be great. A truck idea id like to see get made by moebius, a KW 660. Sorry the truck builders kinda hi jacked the post, but we'd like some info too, from an insider. I did vote chuck, on as many as i could!
  15. A little detour here. A suggestion for moebius concerning big rig trailers. 3 from Mac trailer, a polished spread axle high side end dump, a 48' drop deck, closed or spread axle option, and a polished pneumatic. From beall, a fuel tanker and polished set of pneumatic doubles.
  16. Maybe ill put what i have on the bench on hold and give this a go, maybe my attempt will be a good 1. I have no intentions of using the rims, tires or engine. Wonder who can guess what im stuffing in it, its definitly not gonna be a small block chevy. Hope this turns out how im picturing it. On another note, after reading the post listed above, IF i buy the 77 gmc wrecker it would be only for the body, maybe.
  17. Welcome john. I would say any new camaro or corvette. I stole the LS out of a Z06 kit for my 56 bel air build.
  18. Thats right, imagination is limitless
  19. I hear ya on the seams. Besides being the size of the chips, the cab lights wouldnt be that hard to machine. Hhmmmmm...., maybe thatll be 1 of my 1st parts i make when i get a small lathe. This takin shape, lookin sharp, the pulleys look great. Are the pulleys a groove or a radius , hard to see in the pics
  20. My goodness terry. Amazing work. Did you machine the cab lights?
  21. I just recently picked up the midnight cowboy wrecker. Ive read on here that kit and the chevy have issues. What issues are there?
  22. I am right there with ya. Too many ideas, not enough time or kits
  23. Pass by that street all the time. Ive been here for pert near 30 years. Thats cool, you being from sweden and you know my town, what a small world
  24. I cant wait to see this done. This gonna be ridiculously awesome.
  25. It looks good, really good. I am way to sentimental to build for someone or to sell. Good job.
