  1. Dude, that looks great! It functions. That's the most important part, it even supports the weight of a car. Very very nice, well done.
  2. Looks great man. I wish I had space, and money, more space than the other, to build 1/16 scale.
  3. Got this in the mail today. It's 1/72
  4. This may be a dumb question. The front axle doesn't fit into the spot as instructed. The cradles are are too narrow. The engine location is vague at best. At least my chassis is straight though. Read that has been an issue with a few.
  5. I went to CVS in Phoenix for Axe stick deodorant. I couldn't find it. I was passing the redistribution and saw it locked up behind the counter. REALLY!? I couldn't believe it.
  6. Anything aerosol in Arizona is locked up. Even deodorant!
  7. That wing looks great. As usual, excellent work.
  8. Man that floor is poppin. It's an attention getter for sure. It's too bad the Raptor. To bad the suspension don't work. The race teams use ratchet straps to compress the suspension and put little tires on to get the real racers in the transporter. Oh well, looks cool with cars in there. The interior looks great man.
  9. Yes it is Jim. I couldn't believe either. I almost didn't get my phone out quick enough. I was gonna follow it till I got a pic.
  10. Wow. Awesome work Terry. You have some styrene skills man.
  11. You beat me to it man. Thats my plan for the Raptors I'm gonna be ordering. But I'm gonna do some heavy cage work, making it as close as I can to Trophy Truck.
  12. The machine shop I worked in before I started driving made the internal parts for the turbo on the 7.3 liter. They even developed an aftermarket turbo for it too.
  13. I was gonna suggest one his Raptors for a SCORE stock class team.
  14. I'm not a Ford by any stretch, but I would kinda like to have one of them. Hopefully next week I'll be ordering the Raptors for my next big project.
  15. Rhino's truck parts make stacks, visors, bumpers, fenders, air line box, air lines, pogo sticks and a few other items. He's on facebook, I think it's Rhino's Truck Parts. He has an eBay store, here's a link. http://m.ebay.com/sch/rhino9905/m.html?_pgn=1&isRefine=true Here's what his stacks, visor and bumper look like. P&P used to have some nice resin fenders, they are currently out of stock. Class A resin has some cool stuff. Doubletake replicas has nice tires, standard and low pro, they are the truck above. KFS has PE stuff, really nice actually. Czech truck parts has nice PE stuff. Auslowe has some nice resin parts. Hope that helps.
  16. Looks great man. I'm lookin forward to seeing how you do the rear.
  17. Moving right along. I sprayed the door panels satin grey and put the strip of stainless on. The dash is fitted, so sprayed some paint on it. The frame is done so I sprayed some paint on it as well. I put the steps on and foiled the tank ends.
  18. I ran into a little snag. I got excited and cut the back window out too soon. I didn't have the doors hung to make sure the window lined up. So I took a piece of .06 styrene and filled in the mistake. Next weekend I'll cut the window out again, in the right spot.
  19. I had many issues with the putty. I messed with it most of the afternoon and evening and couldn't get the results I was lookin for. I revisit the putty on another build. So I scratched up a set. I used .03 sheet for the main part of the panel. I used .01 for the flames. Glued the two pieces together then sanded the edges of the flames to round and smooth them out a bit. I still need to cut another piece of stainless for the top of the panel. I'm gonna use the process for the floor and hopefully the ceiling.
  20. The truck does work, just not much as the driver is part owner. He spends time in the office and what not. Also they are always customizing this truck to keep it a bit different year to year. I'm guessin they have some nice floor mats to put down when it is working.
  21. Excellent work on this. I love the movie, granted it's cheesyness. Great build, very nice job replicating the the movie car.
  22. I forgot to mention that, the primer. But same process non the less.
