  1. I usually hang mine from a wire then go around and around, up and down, very lightly. Let that dry then hang it the other way and repeat. I let it dry then look it over from how it's going to sit then do touch as needed. After I'm satisfied with the coverage I'll clear it using the same process. Hope that helps.
  2. That's a good lookin truck.
  3. Awesome. A Chevy guys dream. This will be show stopper for sure. Excellent job Tom, excellent.
  4. They shut that truck down for 2 weeks before every show. They then tear it down and clean.
  5. Heres a pic of the inside of the hood. Here's a pic of the under side of the trailers, which I will eventually do someday.
  6. That makes two of us. That's another truck that'd be hard to Peterize. LOL.
  7. I picked up some supplies this week. I bought some .02 styrene, a strip of stainless and Milliput. I'm gonna give the interior a real effort. I'm gonna do the flamed door panels, floor and ceiling. Here are some more reference pics.
  8. No problem man. Sometimes posting opinions wanted works. After seeing the Raptor box next your trailer, it got me thinkin. I need 2 Raptors to make 1. Anyway, I thought the checkered floor would really make the whole interior pop.
  9. Agree totally. That's why I will never get rid of mine. I'd rather be buried in it. Granted mine doesn't look near as good as the pic, but it's still what is.
  10. Dude. Your are out of control. That stuff looks fantastic. You almost need make the roof out of clear Lexan or acrylic. Awesome paint work. Black and orange checker would look way cool.
  11. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99273#entry1376208 Here's a thread addressing your very question. If you have any other questions I'm more than happy to help.
  12. Welcome back Jesse. Hope things stay stable for awhile for ya.
  13. Hwy 62 is kinda the main drag for the big stuff. It runs from Parker, Az to the 1o the 10 just west of Palm Springs. It also intersecs with Hwy 247 which runs north to Hwy 58. Ca likes to keep the big oversize trucks on the 2 lane roads away from people.
  14. We had a few TG&Y stores out here in Ca. It was a cool store as I remember it.
  15. Goodluck man. On all of it, finishing the build, takin your test and goin truckin.
  16. Thanks for the tips. Yours came really nice. I drive by the place that built space ship 1 in Mojave, Ca. Ive seen the real aircraft in the air a few times. I drove by the place 9 times this. When they had that crash a few months back I was out there a couple hours before it happened.
  17. Nice start. Gotta love wheelbase!
  18. Looks amazing Tom. Lookin forward to seeing it outside.
  19. It would be nice if somebody could master a few choices for fenders. P&P is out of all their fenders now. I only have a couple sets in resin. Wish I could help. I need to use what I have wisely. Until somebody starts makin some.
  20. I give that try on the next build I want opening doors. I hope to get the interior tub close to done this weekend and get the frame painted.
  21. You're probably right. Kinda like how you boys on the east coast have your own style. I've only seen one Euro truck in person. It was a blue Scania RV. It was in 2013. The interior was done kind of lowrider like. Meteor crush 2 tone blue velvet,
