  1. Here's your answer. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=98986&page=3
  2. Excellent work. That polish looks amazing. Lookin forward to seeing the wheelie bar done.
  3. Nice start so far. That's an excellent color choice for this. This thing will pop outside.
  4. Thank you very much everybody. The wife and I really appreciate the well wishes. She enjoys reading the commoents, she says there's a great group guys here.
  5. IMO, I think the Merc should stay that way. Maybe a little pin striping. It would look really cool.
  6. Thanks guys. We really do appreciate the well wishes. He was born about 3 weeks early. He's such a tough little guy, all his vitals and stuff we're great. He didn't have to go to the critical care unit. I guess babies that early usually do. So I think he's gonna be strong one. He's really quiet, shots don't bother him, needing a diaper change doesn't bother him. The cold does bother him a little, but when your used to a constant 98 or 99 degrees, the cooler air would bother me too. Mama's up and about now, she's doin great. We'll be going home Friday afternoon.
  7. Thanks Terry Thanks again Micheal. Thanks for the tip David. That's exactly what I'm doin. I'm letting the nurses show me how, then I make sure they watch as I do it.
  8. Nice job. Paint work looks well done.
  9. Looks great Ken. The paint scheme from sledgehammer is an awesome choice. Very nice work.
  10. Thanks everyone, I really the wife and I really appreciate the support. She really enjoys reading your comments. She your all a great group of guys. This our first. So I'm gonna do my best to not be over bearing or over cautious. My step dad is already lookin for his first Jr dragster. I really hope I can get interested in building models, cars or trucks doesn't matter. I'm gonna pick up a few (read too many) snappers for him. I'm gonna have a blast with him. I'm not gonna let driving get in the way of spending with him, as much as possible. Take better care of myself, so I'm here for him as long as possible. My promise my wife and him is to be the best father and husband from here on out. Be part of his life and be there whenever for him. Be the best support I can be for my wife. The models, glue, paint, and bench is always there. There is no time limit, get it done when I can. Again, THANK YOU!
  11. Here he is, our first born, baby boy Traice. My mom bought him his first truck already, a 1/32 New Ray KW double dump truck. He weighed 4 lbs 11 oz, born a gearhead with numbers like that. He arrived a bit early, but that's just fine. I'm excited.
  12. I'm proud to introduce our first born. Our baby boy Traice. Born at 11:41pm last night. 4 lbs 11 oz, he's doomed to be a gearhead with a number like that. He's 17 1/2 inches long. He's like his daddy already, ready to go early and in no hurry. She went into labor this morning at 6:45 and a mere 17 hours later he's here. They went ahead did c-section.
  13. I really like that second truck, the Pete. I'd drive that in a heartbeat.
  14. That's what WAS used. No they use squeezes. Basically a big road forklift. They can get a bit flashy.
  15. With Aerosmith standing next to it.
  16. Nice start. This will be a cool little truck.
  17. Thanks Joe. This is a bit of tough kit. Maybe it's just me since I usually build trucks. But I've always like front engine dragsters, figured I need to build a few.
  18. I got a little bit done today. The headlights are on, the air intake screens are on and the bumper chrome. I started on the exhaust, only got the kit stacks on at the moment.
  19. Cool little cabover. Well done.
  20. Looks great outside. I'm lookin forward my Raptor project, hopefully I can do it. The Italeri wheels really make a difference, they look great on here.
  21. No problem. That's what this board I'd for, helpful input.
  22. Awesome man. I really like how this came out. All around great job. I'm gonna have to try my hand at the ramp on the race trailer I got from you. The interior looks great. It looks outstanding outside, even though it's loaded with Fords. Just pulling your leg, LOL. excellent work JT.
