  1. Thanks for the info. Ill look into BnL. I have a potential big project in mind using the Raptor snapper.
  2. Thanks Jim. I'll check that out. I'm thankful for these smart phones. We don't have to drag a camera around with us. Sure makes things easier in that way. I just gotta get a bigger memory card now for the wife and I.
  3. Does anybody make a tire like what could be found on a Score Trophy Truck. Like these. Those on a set of wheels like these would cool. Robby Gordon wheels. Or Walker Evans wheels. A 17 inch rim would be preferable. The tires should scale out to 38 or 40 inches tall.
  4. I really hope it doesn't come to that point. All the outstanding work, too much to list.
  5. I was at my LHS yesterday. They had this kit on the shelf, for 99.99. For that kinda money and for what this kit is, I'll pass.
  6. Dude, I'm scratching my head. That is way odd. I hope the clear red works and you won't have to do the nasty.
  7. Great work, as usual. You sir are an artist of styrene. Outstanding work.
  8. DJ Cornmeal was actually there! And, wait for it... DJ Metamucil. That's just awesome! Wish I could've been there! LOL!
  9. I guess I'm I'm still a little blurry eyed from having a new baby, but. I just noticed this is bash of a RB and a Pete snapper. Great job again.
  10. Thanks guys. We get to go home today. I've off all week stayed here at the hospital with both of them. I'm takin monday off as well to get mama settled in at home. Can't wait to see what this chapter of life will bring, and in no hurry.
  11. Man I just cannot believe Tamiya red and clear makes Hersheys brown. I'm pulling for ya, that the red clear works.
  12. I agree, line up the top. That's what I did on the Pete I built with a Mercury box. Excellent idea of attaching the cab to the hood then close it. That way it lines up perfect, cab gets in the proper postion. Great work.
  13. Welcome to the forum Kevin. Glad to see another truck builder. Lookin forward to seeing what your working on.
  14. I love it. A kinda gangstered out RB. I like the v drop visor. The big bumper. Not peterize like I end up doing. Your own, custom take on a Road Boss. Well done.
  15. I forgot to mention shaving down the front drive axle a bit. Not a big task, can easily be done if your willing to do a little disassembly.
  16. Finally got me a Mack. This be my last purchase for a little bit, with a little guy here.
  17. WOW. That really isn't nice of it to do that to ya. It still looks great, but I hear ya about it not being your vision.
  18. This brings back some memories. I built 1 of these about 20 years ago. I actually bought it at a Thriftys Drug Store. This looks good, paint looks good, we'll done.
  19. Very nice. Job well done.
  20. Cool build, nice subtle weathering. Looks great.
  21. Looks great so far. I remember the yellow Ryder trucks. Brings back the times I first rode in that ol KW short wheelbase daycab k100 my dad bought. The setup you chose kinda gets me seeing some trucks from the mid/late 80s. Keep up the great work.
  22. You just have to glue the rims. It sucks if you want the wheels to roll, as for me I don't care. Your off to great start. I would suggest cutting the "axle blocks" off the front springs. The trucks sits high. There's a big gap between the tire and fender, doesn't look very real. Just a suggestion. This will be a looker with that red metallic paint. Lookin forward to seeing more.
  23. Sorry to here about the flooding, maybe you could build a culvert to drain into Ca, just a thought. Glad it creates work for ya though. Nice progress on this so far. Small air tanks can do that, bounce off to who knows where. Door handles seem to fly off into the great nothing around my bench. I'm sure this will be a great addition to fleet, parked right next to your wreckers. You kinda got a emergency/recovery fleet goin. Hey, here's an idea. Maybe paint it to match your Prostar. Half orange half black. Now that would be different and cool. Just a thought though.
