  1. Completed the throttle body and fuel rail. Realigned the coolant lines to clear the tub, the fuel cell and to come up in the right location. The post that held the wing will make a fine fuel pump.
  2. please accept our sympathies Mark.
  3. I believe it is 17,500.I can go back and get the info if you want.
  4. Nice stuff. that Baumann heavy haul is incredible.
  5. This one is real, across the road. Very very nice. Has that been kitted?
  6. What an eye pleaser that is. You've given me my smile for today. Revell you say? I have to look into that.
  7. Not sure if that 60’s cabover is reproduced in resin.
  8. I am relieved that you are not offended by what I'm doing to it.
  9. Oh, it was the old filter cartridge, before spin-ons. The B-model used a similar one, but it sat lower. This guy had one like on mine (see image), which sat a LOT higher. Not an issue under an R hood, but kinda "unique" on a B! The above quote is from a discussion on BigMackTrucks.com . It is the old canister type.
  10. Glad you like it.
  11. It was agreed, after consultation with someone who actually knows what he's talking about that a plain throttle body in the inlet pipe and direct FI would work.Started fabricating a throttle body. Marked up the cylinder head to machine it for fuel injectors. It could be the first FI flathead. Then it was mounted on the milling machine for machining. The actual drilling took place on the lathe.
  12. What appears to be a crossover pipe is missing, so I made one. What is this filter and where do the lines to and from it go?
  13. Doesn't say what year but this is where I got it: Hank's truck forum, http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/gmc.htm
  14. Thanks Dan, but it is still not straight. Has a bit of a dogstep to it. I saw on one of the resin sites, an engine bottom to use in curbside applications. So I let'er rip with my highly sophisticated casting procedure.
  15. Very good question. I'd have to find it again on the internet.
  16. Cut the cab support off and relocated to be centered on the frame. It was made for an offset cab. Added a few things to the chassis. mounted the rear suspension. Had to jig and clamp for it to set straight. Some serious warpage here.
  17. Here goes, 8V-71 was available too.
  18. They are scarce all right. There is an outfit called Thunder V12 that rebuilds them.
  19. More plumbing on the engine.
  20. That should stay nice and straight like this.
  21. Fuel injection lines.
  22. Keeping it in the family. Nice. This was available in the Crackerbox.
  23. Continued plugging holes in the bulkhead. There is room above the engine for an inlet pipe/box. However there isn't any on the outside, so like the pop-off pipe the inlet pipe will have to be on the engine side of the turbos.
