  1. Thanks Carl. Working on the wiring. I found this. The half shafts appear to be the correct length. We'll see. I intend to cut the rear of the body so we can lift it off. Added a piece of angle tothe top of the bulkhead to support it. That scoop doesn't look half bad.
  2. Engine is installed. Some plumbing going on.
  3. Found a pen package blister that has the right shape to make a scoop. That stuff is had to work with but I got something that is plausible.
  4. Wheels are on. this was to be the one where I would attempt air brake plumbing. I studied all the sketches and postings but it was the valves that stumped me. Yesterday, I found out that KFS will be issuing some later this year. So I'll wait until the next truck.
  5. We are still fighting clearance issues. The inlet ducting will not be going to the roof above the engine. It will come right out through the cover. Now if someone has a F1 scoop to spare, I suppose I could use that. I t is a good thing we have all year to do this.
  6. Added stuff to the frame and painted the wheels. His rims are silver but I left them chrome.
  7. FTB has just completed a couple more projects; a mundane Mack ENDT673 and your everyday twin trurboed, dry sumped, fuel injected and transaxled Packard Super 8.
  8. Motor is done. Started trimming the tanks, boxes etc.
  9. The makings of an LS3 V12 and a Frenzel.
  10. Le Dash, or is it control panel?
  11. I was going to ask the same question. I t looks real.
  12. I kind of feel like that too. For most of us, that level is only a target. Impressive.
  13. One small word......wow,,,,,
  14. Thanks for sharing Tom. i had a kick out of the Rivet patrol car in image 2059.
  15. Had to open up above the nostrils to clear the rad pipes. I only have one headlight cover. I'll attempt to make one but if I don't succeed, it'll go without covers. I think that turbo assembly should be about half the size it is. However it was sold as 1/24, same as the engine.
  16. I thought the piece I added to close the hole in the bulkhead could become a hatch to the front of the engine. Added "heat shield" to the right side of the engine compartment. Used the oil pump and tank from the Nascar car . Added a bit of detail to the head. The throttle body is mocked up on the inlet pipe.
  17. Very, very nice. Love your background.Wouldn’t mind seeing an overall shot of it.
  18. I doubt ever. Too many other things on the go.
  19. I doubt they went very far .
  20. Went to do a bit of painting outside. set up on the barbecue grill as per usual. It was too windy. So i started up the old'uns and backed them out of the garage to paint outside but out of the wind.
  21. Thanks Tom. Does someone make the dog dish hubcaps on the real truck?
