Attached the front and rear fascias. those are very thin seams needing very little filler. I may have enough paint.
Painted the "leather".
Added the dials to the dashboard.
Started wiring the engine.
I went back & looked at the instructions after reading Bernard's post. Sure enough all the body parts are assembled BEFORE it goes on the chassis. My bad. I have put them on, it won't need much filler butt, there is always a but...I may not have enough paint left.
Funny, I had the same comment about the Shelby I just completed. I never thought to check but don't they go on after? If not, then you are right, I should have.
Since doing the 67 Shelby OOB, I thought why not another one. I pulled this one out of the pile.
I'll do it like this one.
I found a nice shade of blue which will do nicely.
I was going to do that as well initially, given the white stripes. My foray on the internet showed me some neat light colored cars with white stripes. This one is a Krylon Shortcut called Turquoise. I had bought that to paint my Pontiac engines.
