  2. R.I.P. Sir.Thank you for the music.
  3. That drawing is agodsend, and it just told me the rear part of the bellhousing needs to be shortened.
  4. Working on the engine tonight. Cut off the T's side water pipe. Added some height to the block to match the Dodge's. Removed the oil pan, bell housing and transmission. Made the front of the Dodge bell housing using a button. Made up a transmission using the front of the T's and the rear of a Ford three speed. Turned the front u-joint housing out of a piece of sprue.
  5. I found an iPad/iPhone chargingf cable in the road. It had been run over a few times. Under the vinyl cover....a nice braided shield, and the right size too.
  6. Thanks Alan. Found an excellent head-on photo of a grille shell. I'll scratchbuild that part. I don't have any model A around but several Ts. That will have to do. Thanks for the suggestions.
  7. The first reference pic was just taken off the internet.
  8. Yes James, the Revell cover looks waay too pebbly. I suppose it could smoothed to look like this.
  9. Rummaged through the parts bins. found a Duesenberg frame which has similar attributes to the Dodge's. Shortened it to the Dodge's 161" Made some Dodge looking crossmembers. It sorta looks like the Dodge frame.
  10. This is the AMT Diablo engine, the same as which is in my model but with some details added.. It appears to be a very early version. This is the air intake of the Revell, which appears to be a later version, maybe even a 6.0L. Can anyone verify that?
  11. Installed the second one in the engine shop today. I may install a third one as this is a large room.
  12. That was my plan as well. How were you planning to do it?
  13. Well built and well stored. Very nice.
  14. One heater done. Mounted it in the restoration shop.
  15. Welcome aboard. With all that experience you'll be sure to teach us all. looking forward to seeing your work.
  16. I think the "burner" looks the part. Figuring out the gas line. What could I use for flexible conduit for the electrical feed?
  17. Here's a couple of truck engines using the same technique. Added meng nuts for relief.
  18. The flywheel is a reduced photograph of the real thing.
  19. I had this old Porsche which was very dusty, was missing a wiper and a door handle and two wheels had fallen off. I had used it as a prop in the dio. Decided to clean it up, gave it a shot of clear to revive it, reinstalled the wheels, installed a modified KFS wiper and fabbed a door handle. Its engine was cleaned up, detailed and is going on display.
  20. Winter is coming so I'll build some heaters for the shops, shamelessly using a photo of Crazy Richard's as a guide. This is the first one. of possibly three. The "burner" is a squeeze pad from a glue bottle similar to the one in the photo. The gas line hookup is wire and crimp tubes. The flue is a straw.
  21. A beautiful, gorgeous sunny day. Took both cars out for a spin. Took my wife for lunch at the Golden Age club. They let us in even if we're only in our sixties. Barbecued some pork chops tonight. Even had a snooze on the deck after lunch. All in all, a great day.
