  1. Thank you sir. I was assuming they went on after the body was on the chassis. It is almost embarrassing. Teach me to assume and not read ahead.
  2. It is ModelMaster metallic blue. I really like it. Airbrushed right out of the jar.
  3. Attached the front and rear fascias. those are very thin seams needing very little filler. I may have enough paint. Painted the "leather". Added the dials to the dashboard. Started wiring the engine.
  4. Kapuskasing,ON. Bet you don't know where THAT is.
  5. I went back & looked at the instructions after reading Bernard's post. Sure enough all the body parts are assembled BEFORE it goes on the chassis. My bad. I have put them on, it won't need much filler butt, there is always a but...I may not have enough paint left.
  6. Funny, I had the same comment about the Shelby I just completed. I never thought to check but don't they go on after? If not, then you are right, I should have.
  7. The paint turned out OK. Won't need clear if it stays like this. This is about 12 hours old.
  8. Since doing the 67 Shelby OOB, I thought why not another one. I pulled this one out of the pile. I'll do it like this one. I found a nice shade of blue which will do nicely.
  9. Thank you gentlemen. I am happy you are enjoying it.
  10. Woodspokes.
  11. Nice rendition of a classic beauty.
  12. I was going to do that as well initially, given the white stripes. My foray on the internet showed me some neat light colored cars with white stripes. This one is a Krylon Shortcut called Turquoise. I had bought that to paint my Pontiac engines.
  13. There are some in the workbench thread.
  14. Hope you like it.
  15. The car is in the shop waiting for the clear to dry.
  16. I thought about that, but it looked like they went onto the body after it was on the chassis. So that is why I waited. Hope I won't regret it.
  17. Body is foiled. Front & rear fascias ready.
  18. Nice job on a nice car David.
  19. You are right, Richard. it seems to be very similar.
  20. Thanks Rob. The pic I have must be from an earlier issue. Best regards, Pat
  21. Visited the owner yesterday and made a bunch of sketches , measurements, photos.
  22. The Fruitwagon kit supposedly has an unchopped coupe body. Can anyone confirm. Like Junkman says above, it would be a good starting point.
  23. Is there a '27 Model T coupe 5WC made? There is a Tall T in Jimmy flintstone.
  24. All of the above an then some!
