  1. Superb work on the engine and the machined look on its panels. The wood dash is in my very personal opinion one of the best I have ever seen done in this type of wood grain, it even look to scale. About painting leather, there are some specific "touch-up" paints in spray cans made to fix small scrachts and other imperfections on leather made furniture, shoes, briefcases and hadbags, they come in a selected variety of colors, these could work for you, these are sold at some dept. stores and also craft stores. Here is the website of one in the UK as an example. http://www.fabricspray.co.uk Hope it helps and looking forward for more updates!!
  2. This is my in progress Carlton Dodge Colt, Is a rework of my previus attempt to do the gold pro stock Carlton RodvShop Colt, this time around I rework to a better looking roof line and "C" pillars, still working on the front wheel arches but the body mods make it look much better this time around in my personal view and opinion. I was hoping to have this cast in resin, did have an agreament with a caster....but because my fault and lack of time from my part at the workbench, is probably that the interested caster have lost interest or is willing to do this now. Anyway, I will finish the body mods in a week or so, paint it in its distintive gold paint,Nationwise, rod shop decals and call this done...for a second time...but this time I am happy with the end result/body profile.
  3. Great looking car and model, interesting color combinations and quite in tone with the era of these beautiful cars in which the wealthy owner commissioning his exclusive car wanted to make a statement with equally unique and personal paint work. I have this same kit, a note of interest is that the original car had a siren in the front of the car, one of the former owners was a chief of fire dept or something similar. Also of interest is that when I got the Entex boattail I also got the 1/16 Bugatti Coupe Napoleon...at the time....an EXACT repop of the original out of production Entex offering...the price was so good I hesitate at first thinking it could be a scam.. $39.99 INCLUDING shipping. ..but ...it was true and got the model. I haven't seen any other of the old original Entex 1/16 repops under the one used for the Bugatti, unfortunately. ..will love to have the Packard and all the others.
  4. Ohhhh...how I like so much this project and enjoy every update, FANTASTIC work, the transporter is superb!!!
  5. This is looking great, one of my favorite Petty cars.
  6. Is there any vendor for this kit in the USA that have it in stock and for imediated delivery?....I know about Strada Co. but communication issues and extreamly long waits are things that I want to avoid, so anyone have one for sale or know any company with in stock of these Samil GT 40 2010 race car and selling them, please let me know.
  7. Superb Jaguar, the look and finish is first class all the way. You really do beautiful scale models of fabulous cars in 1/8 scale.
  8. Superb looking model of the Aston and in my favorite color. I know the kit and all that took to make it look soooooo good....actually. ..GREAT....is the stuff that make you remember that nothing is impossible in this hobby....just extremely difficult sometimes! !! The craftmanship is superb and the final result in the model look, detail and lines....even more.
  9. I was thinking the same the other day, saw several decal artwork for the two Glidden Fairmonts, Dyno Don and even a Lee Hunter car, but it seem it never came to be or put into the market, that I know of!! When I did my scrachtbuilt Fairmont I did the white and blue, ended painting all the blue lines with tamiya spray can paints and tamiya yellow tape, with patience and time it can be done, I just got one of the "pinstripe" a little out of shape but is because I did not double check before painting. Now I to working on one (my second actually) of Scott superb Fairmont body, doing the Glidden 1979 undefeated white/blue and red car, already painted and just awaiting completion, will be using the Slix decals Glidden EXP decals for the blue letter BOB GLIDDEN name and some sponsors. Slix have the Pinto decals that are the same white, red and blue as the Fairmont. ...and could work with the Scott, Fairmont body. MUST SAY...Scott Fairmont body is a superb product and in my personal opinion a dream to prep and get ready to paint and detail....the same goes with all the other great goodies he have available..

  18. I am finishing one of Missing Link 1978 Ford LTD as a cop car...and another kit of the sane waiting in line for a Sheriff's car, I can HIGHLY recommend the kit, as stated before the body and parts are done in a crisp and fine resin casting, my two kits where flawless when I got them and after the usual resin cleanup recommended it build without a pronlem and into...in my very personal opinion...a beautiful model. I am a BIG fan of the real car!!!....and a VERY important thing....when Kevin have everything in stock...he ships SUPER fast!!!....yeah...as you can see I am happy with product and service!
  19. MAGNIFICENT and Wonderful work and project, can't wait to see more updates, amazing they way you have paint and add all the details in perfect scale and finish, superb!!!!!
  20. Think will be cheaper trying to find a Polar Lights 1974/75 Charger, these kits chassis are nicely detailed...BUT will need work to make it fit correctly. ..the Charger body for example needs a LOT of massage and work to make it look "nice"....the chassis...a little less, in my personal experience and opinion. For my Petty Magnum project chassis is a old Monogram NASCAR Thunderbird chassis with some modifications....used the AMT Roadrunner front end chassis/front suspension assembly and the back differential with leafsprings, I consider myself a "frugal modeler" and try to do as much as I can with the parts box/home made solutions!!!! I am REALLY excited about your project and will look forward for more updates.
