  2. That Jaguar looks great inside and out, you did a superb job and finish to a model kit with a lot of problems in it build design. Again, great job!!
  3. I got a few days ago the Missing Link Co. 1978 Ford LTD four door resin transkit wich use the AMT/ reissues 1970 Ford Interceptor for chassis, engine and police equipment. Very nice kit and of a body style I always liked very much, highly recomend this resin kit and Kevin at Missing Link is a great guy to deal with.

  7. Wayne, Once more a big thank you, two of those are very helpful, also my good friend Norbert L. sent me a picture of the 1979 trailer show the back loading door and it painted line, so thanks to you and him I have all the info. to procced to paint. Thanks one more time and really appreciate the help. Will post photos once is done.
  8. Wayne, Thank you anyway I know this particular details can be dificult to find as visual info but once more, appeiciate your help. I will paint the trailer in the late 1978/79 colors and graphics, I think it will be correct and since the trailer was still been used in the 1980/81 seasson before the all blue/ white Ford Motorcraft colors where painted. Also I made the mistake in the name of the Dodge used by Glidden in 1979 seasson, it was not an Aspen...but a Dodge Arrow.
  9. I hope a forum member can help with a little info about the Bob Glidden race team of 1978 seasson...of which I am almost finish with the undefeted Fairmont car show above. My very good friend and vintage pro stock information mentor, Norbert L. gave me as a gift one of the long Galaxie LTD. trailer kit, so I can do the Glidden race transporter as a back drop for my Fairmont. The problem is that I can not find a picture of the 1978 seasson trailer, only the 1979 which is painted in the Dodge Aspen color configuration, red/blue lines and "Glidden race cars" in blue letters and the latter 1980/81 all blue Motorcraft one. Do anyone have a picture of the 1978 seasson Glidden transporter, any help will be greatly appreciated.
  10. Now, this is something I will look forward to see the progress and finished model, truly a beautiful car and even more in the slick top configuration that you have choosen to replicate. I to have this kit, build one years ago, fit was terrible and some of the body panels where warped...so you can imagine how it turn out in the end. Got another kit to build again, as is indeed a beautiful and historical speed record car. Please keep us posted of your progress, you have here another project fan!!! Fred

  15. Looking very nice and the color and stripes combination will make it even more.
  16. Looking great, this superb transkit worth every single penney it cost, this is going to be another masterpiece from your worbench.
  17. With your attention to detail and superb accesories, this is going to be stunning indeed.
  18. Magnificent craftmanship and project.
  19. SUPERB body work and paint job even if is not polished/finished yet, really looking forward on more updates and finished model.
  20. I think the way Fujimi molded the body is intended to make a street car version possible with minimum retooling. The giveaway are the separated molded sides instead of a full body molding. Hobby Design has the street version of this car in resin...but after working with some of their transkits and their never ending fitting issues I do not look forward to pay or work in one of their "full" kits..is a shame sin they really do very interesting and wanted models and transkit...they are doing the Aston Martin one 77 limited edition car...but as I said before.....
  21. I got this in the mail today, I perorder it the moment it was anaunced some month ago. I will post better and more detail pictures of the parts in a couple of days..but in my very personal opinion a very nice kit...not ultra detailed since it do not have an full engine..just a molded unit at the back plate...but still it has a nice..very nice body and cockpit as well as wheels..these are incorrect for the current car..but hey..is still nice!! Some will say that is a bit overprice for a "curbside" model kit..but again in my very personal opinion it beats a resin $300 dollar offering in the same configuration/style..and some times pin holes and warped parts and body...so not to bad the price for the Fujimi offering. I plan to do mine in the Gulf version....the kit decals only gives you the "Mclaren Team" version...but I am pretty sure very soon there will be a lot of aftermarket decal sets and accesories for this particular kit. It is indeed a beautiful car.
  22. Looking great and a very interesting project of a beautiful Aston Martin, can't wait to see more updates!
  23. Looks great, like it very much!!
  24. Beautiful build.
