  1. You have the best metalic finish technick and weathering in the scale automotive arena that I have ever seen..SUPERB..SIMPLY SUPERB. But when you see all the other fabrication and scrachtbuilding part you do only one word comes to my mind...Masterpiece!!
  2. The last link I posted show a much, much better body and detail thaT the TKM version, I have the replay from the modeler doing in it and he hope to have it ready in about two months. The TKM example shown above seem to be one of those "good ones" from them..A.K.A....not warpped like a bannana!!! To my surprice a local modeler have one of these TKM Mark V and offer to give it free...since it was beyond possibilitys of a good build, bur since I am optimistic modeler, ask myself..how bad could it be?....well.....I am STILL looking for a Mark V 1/25...and not bannanas!
  3. And a link on the ongoing build on the Linconl Mark V....from the pictures looks very good as a starting point for a very nice replica stock....I REALLY WANT ONE OF THESE BODYS!!!!!!....Any one knows how to get one? http://www.jevriesblog.com/index/lincoln-mark-v-resin-model
  4. OH.that Mark V looks like a good starting point..if you want to part with it let me know,we can work something out, I want one!!!!
  5. MCW....I tried to buy from them some time ago but it was out of stock at the time. Will try again this week!!
  6. The Nascar body is a very nice base to do the street stock version....most of the major rework will be the wheel openings and getting those bulges over them out and making the distintive trim in them.the rest will be easy, doing the Lincoln Mark V will be a little more involved.....but what a car!!!!....now the bug bite me and will have to find one of these Nascar Thunderbirds for sure to do the project.
  7. And here is a link to the on progress conversion Thunderbird...I found this some months ago when looking to see if this or the Linconl Mark V of the same year was already available in resin stock trim from from any manufacturer. http://www.layitlow.com/forums/30-model-cars/140045-cars-you-would-like-have-casted-24.html
  8. Ahhhh....the 1978 Thunderbirds and the Lincoln Mark V....two cars that I have wanted to do in stock version..in fact I have been looking for an "in stock..ready for delivery" NASCAR version to modified to street stock and have someone to cast me a copy...the body mods will be significant from race to street and a lot of plastic lamination and detail fabrication is needed to get a nice stock version...so having a solid resin body will eliminate any long term problems with difrtent material reactions if any. I think I know the car Gary is talking about..I believe the modeler who did the 1978 Nascar Thunderbird to street car trim is a project to make it a lowrider custom...it was turning very very nice indeed.
  9. Thanks guys for all the kind comments, greatly appeciated. I did a little more work on the two cars these past two days, will post more progress photos soon. Fred
  10. SUPERB,FANTASTIC;MAGNIFICENT,SPECTACULAR..and all that is similar!!!! That engine looks like the real thing and all those small details in the chassis are great.
  11. The painted Glidden car, I choose to paint all the color lines in the body...not "great" paint job...but I like very much the result, still have to fix a little blue dot on the engine hood, but apart from that it turn nice....I think!!!, nothing is glued in place yet including the door.
  12. If in these great pictures this looks magnificent I can imagine how superb and impresive is in person. The trailer alone is a masterpiece, whe the truck is added...is going to be out of this world..SUPERB!!!!!
  13. Is looking great, love the color.
  14. I got mine this week, what can I say that have not been said before?...truly a magnificent model, the detail and quality of parts is superb and how everything is packed and protected is a big plus, I am REALLY looking forward to start working on this great kit.

  16. SUPERB AND MAGNIFICENT!!!!....this is truly a stunning model and the decal work and graphics make it even more.
  17. Hi Scott, That sound great, please let me know when they are ready and knowing your quality work and attention to detail I am pretty sure it will be another great offering from your already great parts lineup.
  18. Thanks guys for the kind words about this projects. I will update the Glidden Fairmont car soon, painting the red and blue stripes on the body right now. It has been a lot of fun building these two cars and am looking forward to finish them up compleatly, I am even thinking of doing the Lee Hunter car...IF I can scrape the depleted hobby funds for another Fairmont body!!!
  19. Back Zephyr type lights where made from thick acrylic sheet and painted trasparent red.
  20. With the A.J. figure. The front grille is still on the progres and not finished/painted yet.
  21. Well got some more done to the Animal Jim Zephyr, I am not to happy with the paint job but it will have to do, still have to wet-sand and polish the paint/clearcoat. Nothing is is glued to the body yet. Still working on the engine detailing/lines and since is a "budget" build...A.K.A. no aftermarket parts. I tried to get the correct gold finish of the wheels, paint them chrome finisn and airbrushed Tamiya transparent yellow over it, the same with the engine bay and interior floor panels, thanks to my good friend Norbert who find a bottle of this paint overhere, in our area is becoming more and more dificult to find hobby supplies. Still a lot of work ahead on the Zephyr but is getting there, hope you like it.
  22. This looks FANTASTIC, I have always admire your building style and attention to detail, superb!
  23. Look great, super detailing and finish.
