  4. This is going to be another great one indeed, looking forward to see it comming along to it's final finish. You have a great collection and representation of great vintage drag cars.
  5. Beautiful work and model, love the color choice to.
  6. WOW..knowing the original manufacture date of the reissue and scale Detail quality of the kit you started with, the results are nothing short of superb and spectacular, all the mod. work and corrections make this an already beautiful model of a real beautiful car. Again SUPERB work.
  7. Looking great, love the stance and wheel choice, looking forward to more updates.
  8. This is my on progress Missing Link resin model 1978 Ford LTD in the Kentucky State Police colors, in these pictures the model is still missing a lot of small details, by now is almost finished and just have to take new pictures showing the compleated build. The resin body and parts where great and must say Kevin at Missing Link Co. is a GREAT guy to deal with, service, communication and quality is first class in my book. http://images59.fotki.com/v420/photos/1/825591/8687337/011-vi.jpg http://images15.fotki.com/v587/photos/1/825591/8687337/013-vi.jpg http://images52.fotki.com/v1563/photos/1/825591/8687337/014-vi.jpg
  9. If you ever make a CD/DVD with all the photos you have posted or saved on this truly amazing project of a miniature Masterpiece....I WILL BUY IT IN A MINUTE......WAIT...that's to long....A SECOND!!!!!
  10. Thank guys, in the new photos a light coat of white primer has been put on the body to see how all is coming along, a lot of sanding, fabrication and fitting still ahead on the body shell but like how is coming together and look of the car. The door lines are just pencil lines at this stage and the front area is in It's first stages.
  11. This is FANTASTIC...I to want to do this car.
  12. Thanks for the links, I don't think this car have a lot of "fans" in the car modeling world so finding a good resin caster that will actually make the mold and resin copys...and in a relatively short time have them available is quite dificult in these hard economic times....besides..I have lost two master bodys in the past in "fail" casting deals, so the prospect of loosing the LTD II worrys me a LOT. Once more thanks for the kind words and visual info. links, greatly appreciated. Fred
  13. Sorry here a link to my Fotki page..my laptop or internet server seem to be faulty at this moment. http://public.fotki.com/plasticfanatic/street-carsmovie-ca/page2.html
  14. This is my scrachtbuilt 1979 Ford LTD-II, is on the early stages of the configuration and construction...a lot of lamination, putty and sanding still ahead but I think the basic profile can be appreciated at this "dirty stage" of the project. The Monaco Police car will eventualy be a Nevada Highway patrol car in "slick top" configuration. The interior of this car will be light blue not the tan shown right now...this model was a old paint test body that I had laying around, striped the old layers of paint and fix it as best as I could and repaint it in the Nevada H.W. colors...still have to polish the paint and work and fix other details, but I like the results so far....and yes...I will convert the front grille to a FURY version as the real car I chose to model. Thanks for looking and hope you like them!!
  15. This project is SUPERB and of one of my favorites movies, don't know how many times I have wacht it!!! The diorama idea sound great, if I recall there a build thread in one of the web forums showing the build of the Duel truck by another modeler, that one look fantastic to!!! Will follow this project with a LOT of interest.
  16. Looking GREAT, the paint job and decal work is sharp and fantastic.Like you I also built my original issue Petty Charger with blue painted wheels also, in my very personal opinion a quite nice look.
  17. A true Tour of force in the art of scale modeling, the concept, craftsmanship and attention to detail is MAGNIFICENT. Looking forward to the next update.
  18. Fantastic work, I always loved the lines and look of the IMSA Cougar, the Olivetti Oldsmobile come in a tie with the Cougar in looks...in my VERY personal taste and opinion of course.
  19. Beautiful build and great looking police car. Now I must buy this new kit by Revell!!!
  20. I have built an original issue Petty Charger 1/16, it's simply an amazing kit, build it out of the box is a stunning and detailed model..add extra Detail pieces and you have a magnificent vintage NASCAR model. I will be ordering one of the reissue kits and build it again. I still have my original built Petty Charger in a glass case, it show it's age...BUT..STILL my favorite in my small collection...I even saved the original boxtop.
  21. SUPERB, the engine unit is a beauty in itself, can't wait to see more updates.
  22. Looking GREAT!!!....I to want to do a police car with this great kit from Revell, the details, paint and finish is looking superb...this is going to be a real beauty, as soon as I finish my 1978 LTD Kentucky state police model will start with the Revell one, think my scrachtbuild 1984/85 "baby" LTD police will have to wait
  23. Superb looking car, stance, color, fit and finish, beautiful from all angles.
  24. If I have the kit body am willing to do the conversion to the fists movie car and send it to a caster willing to do them in a REASONABLE TIMEFRAME to sell to fellow Mad Max car enthusiasts..my only payment..an resin copy..only one!!!...THE problem is FINDING the Aoshima plastic kit at a reasonable price to start with!!! And a resin caster willing to mold it and sell them.
