  1. SAE did a review of after market wheels. I have that issue somewhere deep in my archives. Actually Ben is a frequent poster on this board when he is not have dreams about the up coming Moebius Reefer trailer model. Ben's wheels were 1/25th scale, at least the ones I have and are about 10 years old. I have them all set for the reefer trailer. He will read this thread and chime in soon!
  2. Since you where in Arizona (guessing) that COE could have come from Mexico. the seem to have a variety pf trucks down there.
  3. .. I didn't realize how new the 15 liter Prostar is. I went to my local International dealer for some brochures on the 15 liter Prostar and the sales people knew less about the that model than I did. They hadn't had one in stock. This model kit must really be cutting edge.
  4. Just want to see if there is a noticeable size disparity (1/25th to 1/24th scales)

  6. Not the Titan we want.
  7. I am thourouly sick of the old AMT kits too.
  8. Dave, you guys just keep on turning them out and I will keep on spending my money on them!
  9. The New Haven Railroad had a yard in my hometown when I grew up in Connecticut. I road these often when we to the the train to the city (what we called Manhattan). They were they very common in the 1960 and 70s in the North East corridor.
  10. I think you meant Mack Crane. This is a Crain:
  11. This what happens when Pick Up, SUV and car model builders try and tackle real trucks. When i see posts saying "I'm not a truck builder, but..." I expect things like this. Maybe 300 pieces is too much for you.
  12. One reason Clint Freeman got out of the after market resin business. We will be waiting. Also make sure the T-800 hood has the external breather option.
  13. Apparently most of the modelers on this board could careless about building a new KW W900. As long as AMT keeps re-issuing the ancient stuff, they will keep buying them. Just a suggestion, why not use your place a KW to try and get a modern KW truck subject as a kit. The photo below is a original Clinf Freeman W900L cab and hood conversion mastered by Bill Drennan, with Revell of Germany sleeper. The cab and hood are now available from P&P Resins. P&P is also suppost to offer a T800 conversion kit. Also Daniel Gailloux of Plaskit offers a series of modern KW conversions: http://stores.ebay.com/plaskit
  14. Nice subject and execution. I'm sure this is what the race car heads ultimately want to do with the Lonestar tractor.
  15. Shouldn't this be under truck models?
  16. This topic has been covered: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40494&hl=%2Bwestern+%2Bstar&fromsearch=1
  17. So in fact it is a 1/24th scale kit, after the standard complain about a new model kit before it's release. The Routemaster looks to be another solid bus kit. It seems Revell is serious about the developing bus series. I hope there next kit is a North American style kit. Nice start to your project.
  18. There is, it's called paint seel!
  19. There is no law that says you can't have both. In fact if the sale are good for the Prostar and trailer, No doubt Moebius will release a Transtar and or Workstar, So buying the kit will in effect aid in getting more kits.
